I've been a customer for hope for over 15 years and always pay my bill on time .Back late last summer of 2023 My ex-girlfriend that I no longer have communication via court order brought a dog that we used to share together .( we have been broke up for 4 years) into Hope animal clinic and she requested to make payments on that dog's services. She has not paid for said services and they are trying to hold me to the bill for these services that did not authorize. And they will not remove the charges from my account and are currently not seeing my current dog due to past due bills.

Please note the email dated 2/5/24 is our first notice of this complaint.

****************** brought Bullett in for euthanasia on 8/29/23. Bullett had been a patient at Hope since 2017 and had always been brought in under the same account. ****************** had previously been listed on the account or had brought Bullett in for treatment/services. Therefore, when ****************** brought Bullet in for euthanasia she advised us of his name, *****************************.  Therefore, the charges from that visit were applied to said account. Please also keep in mind that unless a pet is registeredthere is no tangible way for a client to prove ownership.

Hope had no way of knowing that ****************** was no longer associated with ****************** and must rely on our clients to provide this information when applicable. Since this incident, ****************** has requested the account be flagged for his use only, which we have done.

In a conversation with ****************** following this visit, **** offered to call ***************** concerning payment, however ****************** would not share her contact information with us. In the end, the account is in ****************** name,he did not notify us prior to this incident of any account changes, and therefore it is our belief he is responsible for said outstanding balance. This is a personal matter between ****************** and ****************** and hence the issue should be resolved between them.
