  My wife and I were visiting ******** ******* in 2019 when my wife took a bad fall that left her with 9 broken ribs on right side and a collapsed lung. We went to hospital for treatment of collapsed lung and discovered that emergency surgery was also required to fix a bowel blockage that was life threatening. This required a bowel resection procedure that was a major 4 hour surgery. She was in ICU for 3 days and several more days in recovery unit. This was a nightmare for ** and we wanted to get my wife transported back to hospital in ********* ** as soon as possible. I contacted Medjet on first day and they guided me through the whole process. It was quickly determined that return by commercial air craft would not be safe and began process of preparing for using one of their private medical jets. It took several days to get medical approval because of her collapsed lung. Doctors at Medjet, the hospital in ******** and hospital in ********* all had to confer. It was a complicated process but Medjet staff provided help and support through the whole ordeal. In the end Medjet provided 2 skilled paramedics, a private jet with 2 pilots, transport to and from hospitals to airport and arrange to stop at 4 airports for gas because the flight distance was so far. It was a life saver for ** and the service was great from start to finish. We had been members of Medjet for years and consider it the best decision we ever made.

  We have had Medjet coverage since my husband was first diagnosed with AFib and cardiovascular disease. At that time, the doctors implanted an ICD and pacemaker. Our surgeon recommended Medjet and we are so happy he did. Upon entering ***** via the ** 5 years ago, his ICD was deployed, and he required ***************************** in ******. Medjet did a wonderful job monitoring his stay in the hospital, and organizing the trip back to our hospital. We can't thank them enough for their speed and care in getting my husband back to the **. Would never travel without Medjet.
