      After much review of the same complaints below. I am experiencing the same problem. I cannot get anyone to return my call nor will they discuss any info with me regarding my loan and insurance. At this time, I will be refinancing with another Credit Union. The customer service I have been receiving for the past few weeks are deplorable. I would not recommend this Credit Union. Yet, I will be moving forward to refinancing with another company by 1st of Feb with another *************** This is time wasted and nothing is being done.

      After being a loyal customer for over 20 years and owning a joint checking and savings account with my husband, AFFCU allowed him to remove me from the accounts without my consent, therefore locking me out of a savings account that I have been putting money into for 2 decades. Heads up for any joint account holders, if you are not the "primary" account holder, you can be removed and lose access to your own money. I will not be banking with AFFCU in the future. They do not have EVERY customer's best interest at heart.

      If I could give less stars I would. Horrible experiences throughout. My tax refund was sent to my account, I get my payroll, and VA benefits sent to this account, but for no reason they returned my tax refund to the *** because they suspected fraud. How is it fraud, when I bank with AFCU, my money is with AFCU, and something comes in from ***, you send it back? Place is a joke. Will take my buisness elsewhere.

      Just like many of the other reviews here I didn't miss a payment for years on my loan until they decided to cancel all the auto payments that were set up. No notice of the missed payment via call, text, mail, or email. I didn't realize this had happened until my credit score dropped over a hundred points. When I called to figure out what was going on they admitted this was an ongoing problem for people so rather than fix the issue with people they'd rather torpedo your credit score for an issue they created. I was told the late payment remark would be rectified, psych. Thanks alot America's First, really looking out for your customers!

      Terrible Service. I paid off my car loan, and have been trying to shut down my account. I gave them all the information they requested, but they are still making me jump through multiple hoops to close my account. Extremely unprofessional over the phone and unhelpful. Do not recommend at all.

      This place is a joke. They took out overdraft fees when we were clearly in the positive, saying oh, its cause of your available balance.lady, I told you what the available balance it shows under the transaction says, and it is positive then a fee taken out, positive and another fee7 fees we are owedonly given three, then they send a threatening letter in the mail talking about it being overdrawnno c*** ********! **** made it that way with all the stupid fees that were bogus!! Will never recommend this place to anyone.

      The new system upgrade through off my balance. I have Flex pay for my rent. If I have the 1st payment it automatically drafts. If I don't it will check until I do have the money. The 1st draft is on the 1st of the month, of which I have 4 days to pay. I planned to pay on the 5th when I got paid, but the upgrade made it looks as though I had more money than I actually had. Before the upgrade my balance was about ******. That Monday when the upgrade finished it projected that I had ******* for some reason. Long story short, I ended up being 500+ in the negative. I called to straighten it out and was on hold for 45 mins until I was told by the system I'd get a call back. That never happened. I finially reached someone the next day and she was very rude. She replied "well you knew this upgrade would happen". To which ai replied "who would knownmy balanced would be botched?". I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said one was not in but they'd call me. That never happened! I went to a bank branch was given the same treatment. All I wanted was to be given a 0 balance. I've banked with AFFCU for about 7 yrs but no more! I see that I was not cared for as a customer at all. I also ralked with a few friends that banks with AFFCU and they has similar problems. I am done with this bank. Do not give them business!

      **************** is pathetic! They only have one number for all transactions. No one EVER answers the phone. The wait music is not appropriate for the wait. Should be the Jeopardy wait music. For a Federal Credit Union, this bank needs help!

      The worst bank I have ever dealt with. I sent in a check in Aug. '23 to pay off my vehicle loan. The check was returned to my bank for unknown reasons. I called and the ******* told me that I paid my August bill. I told her this was for the payoff and she said she would give me the new 10 day payoff amount on 9/26/23. I told her I would pay the original 10 day payoff since they rejected the check. She said I could take it up with collections and that she needed to put me on hold. As you can guess she never came back on the line. I still dont know how to payoff my loan. No info on the portal or online as to where to send a check. Please help!!! They will turn me over for collections for non-payment even thought its their own fault.
