Our company had a marketing contract with High Level Marketing....The owner/president of *************** passed away unexpectedly and I took over as president of the company just over a year ago. I met our account rep at High Level within the first 30 days of taking over, but then I was never able to reach her again...I have left numerous emails and phone calls with multiple people within their company asking for someone to call me to discuss and they all state they will have the account rep ******* me., but to this date, I still have not received a phone call as I requested.Since then our contract has expired and they are the only ones with the login info to our website since the previous owner died. I feel they are holding our login credentials hostage since I haven't renewed the contract with them.Any assistance that you can provide on having them give us all the necessary info to our website site and hosting would be greatly appreciated.

      Business Response

      Date: 01/24/2023

I have just been made aware of the complaint filed by *****************. I have read the complaint and researched the situation on our end.

****'s issue is regarding the hosting of his website. High Level Marketing has never hosted the *************** website. Therefore, we could not "hold his website hostage." We designed and built the website, and we had a contract to provide SEO and SEM services that expired in February 2022.

**** sent an email to ***** account manager on April 18 and received a response on April 27, 2022. The response explained we designed and built the website but did not host it.

A few weeks ago, **** called HLM's main number. As a courtesy, our support team connected with him and gave him his website login credentials.

HLM did what we could to help him in his transition. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist him with the hosting issue.

I hope this explains the situation and you are able to make the adjustments necessary to remove the complaint from our account. Please let me know if I need to write an official statement to post on the page in response to the allegation that we are holding his website hostage.
