      I dropped off my dry cleaning at the Deluxe Cleaners (**** ****************************, ****** ** *****) on Monday October 23, 2023 in a green Deluxe Cleaners bag which had my name and a bar code on it. The clothes included 2 pairs of navy blue dress pants, 1 pair of black dress pants, one pink dress, and 1 black and white dress. The worth of the clothes would be approximately $500. The woman who took the clothes did not ask for my name or phone number and said this was not needed since this information was linked to the bar code and my name already on the bag tag. She did not give me a ticket or receipt for my drop off, which was different from usual.Generally the clothing is dropped off and returned by a Deluxe Cleaners bag on the following Friday, so the clothing should have arrived at my house on Oct 27, 2023. The clothing never came. I waited another week, and the clothing still had not arrived November 3, 2023. I contacted the cleaners on November 6th and they said that they had no record that I had ever dropped off any clothes. No one had scanned the bar code on the bag and no items had been entered in under my name or phone number. There was some effort to find the clothes. However, despite multiple phone calls and in person visits to the store the team has not found the clothes nor continued to look for them and it is not November 13, 2023. I would ideally like my clothes back. If not, I would settle for $500 reimbursement for the lost clothing.
