    Contracted with Birmingham Estate Sales LLC to sell my deceased mother's personal property in an estate sale. Sale occurred on June 6-8, 2024. The proceeds to the estate from the sale were to be $2559. Birmingham Estate Sales LLC paid the estate $500, but for the last two months have not made the final payment and has said they could only transfer $500 a day, had mail issues, etc.We just want the estate to be paid in full, the remaining $2059.

    We have had issues with mail Coming out of *******, which I have sent you that documentation. I think that weve got everything resolved with that hopefully. We are not using **** any longer

    We contacted with the business in February to conduct an estate sale. Our sale was March 21, 2024. We were to be paid 4-6 weeks after the sale. We have not been paid nor will they give us the documents to verify an accurate payment. Our home was damaged during the sale and we were supposed to be reimbursed the cost of repairs. I have reached out repeatedly to the owner requesting the sales log, and associated documents. I was told a check had been mailed May 4. I requested to know how much and who did she send it to. Only to be told its lost in the mail. I have repeatedly requested cancel that check reissue and I will send someone to pick it up. We are not asking for anything we are not entitled to. It doesnt take that long to answer us and send us our money. If she in fact had sent the first check our information should be available in our file

    We issued a first *** k that is in postal land.  Your mail is coming out of *******, which they are having a major problem with delayed Mail. 

    We hand-delivered your check  

    Because weve already sent the initial check which we have hence canceled Your sales logs were stored in the warehouse.  The girl who does our books who cuts all the checks has to get everything out of the warehouse and she is working on

    This company did an Estate sale for me the first weekend in November of 2023. I have yet to receive payment for the items sold. I have reached out to the owner several times to please send the money she owes me from the sale. She did respond once that she would put a check in the mail but that was ******************************************************************** I need to close out my sisters Estate and need this payment. Its not right for her to do this and very unprofessional! I just want what it owed to me. Its not hers to keep. This is stealing.

    First and foremost I am so sorry for the delay and the loss of your sister!  

    I have responded to you - I explained we had a death in our circle as well - and the person who facilitates our payments has been handling this unexpected death in their family.  

    I have no intentions of delaying (or we would not have an A+ with the BBB) its been an unexpected bump in our world as well.    

    I assure you to have your check processed as soon as I can.   I will contact you as well.   

    I'm so sorry to cause more stress in your world but its not intentional I assure you.  

    I've had other clients understand and been patient - please accept our apologies for the delay in closing out your sisters estate.

    My contract says I will receive a check in 2 to 3 weeks of Estate sale.  It has now been over 2 months. I realize things happen but it doesnt take that long to put a check in the mail. Its pretty simple. Bham Estate will just send me the money this can be resolved.

    I have texted and called **************** 

    I have offered to send the money through Zelle and she can just tear up the check when she receives it. I have yet to receive any kind of confirmation of this. I have assured her that we have indeed mailed the check when we said we did 

    I have explained to her in great detail, that this is obviously not the norm we Had extenuating circumstances, and I have taken full responsibility for the delayed check.

    It is very unfortunate that this client has taken such drastic recourse when we obviously are trying to extend our apologies and reassurance that indeed, we are trying to get the money to them as quickly as possible.

    Once again, I have offered to ***** the money to her directly and she can just tear up the check when it arrives. I have yet to hear a response.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I contacted the BBB on 1-10-24. ************************* owner of Birmingham Estate sales promised she would mail the check then and thus far have never received it. I suggested to put a stop pmt on that check and send another one. If she has sent it then it must be lost. The Estate sale was first weekend in November ************************************************ I understand circumstances happen but its been almost 3 months. She suggested she could send it thru Zelle but I dont use Zelle. Her responses thru text are sounding as if she is irritated at me but I believe anyone in my place would feel the same way. I am tired of begging. Hopefully the check she has promised will come in the next few days and everyone moves on. I just want the money for my deceased sister items she sold. It was hard enough losing my sister without dealing with this. Tks

    I just want to express that I check my P O BOX most everyday. The date on the check was 1/25/24. My original complaint was dated 1/10/24. I received the check on 2/3/24. ***************** expressed that the ck was in the mail on 1/10/24 . That obviously wasnt the truth because the ck was dated 15 days later . I hate to see what would have happened if I had not been persistent!
