My daughter has been getting care for cancer since 2022. Over the past year we've started having issues with the billing department on filing her claims to the insurance company. There is one outstanding bill that the billing department refuses to file to her secondary insurance. Account number ******. She had **** primary and *********************(*****************). She had a prior authorization stating that ***************** will pay even though its out of network. We've called multiple times and talked to multiple people even with **************** on 3-waiy call to tell them where to send the claim correctly to and this still is not being done. There is still the outstanding balance of $3759.32 from April 22, 2024 that **************** says they will gladly pay if Children's of Alabama will just send it over to them. We also have many claims dated back to August 2024 that are waiting on medical records to be sent to ********** so they will pay it. The billing department is of NO HELP and not doing their job. I should not have to keep asking these people to do their job and file my daughters claims or send over medical records. I have called, my ex husband has called, and Maci's step mom has called.Current claims pending insurance awaiting medical records:March 24, 2025 March 10, ***** February 24, 2025 February 10, 2025 January 27, 2025 January 13, 2025 December 30, 2024 December 16, 2024 December 2, 2024 November 18, 2024 November 4, 2024 September 23, 2024 August 22, 2024

I would like to close this case if that is possible. The matter is being handled now that it's been put into the right hands. I appreciate the help with getting this resolved. Besides the billing department's(whom I've never met in person) issue, Children's of Alabama is an outstanding hospital along with their staff and have always treated my daughter and I great, which is why we choose to travel there from ***********.
