  On January 13, 2023 The Tree Man company agreed to remove a fallen tree from my yard by cutting it up into small enough pieces to carry out to the street without using heavy equipment that he said he did not own anyway. Instead, he called someone and used and excavator and a bobcat. Therefore severely damaging the concrete in my driveway on January 15, 2023. I paid him $1,200 for the service. Once I discovered the damage to my driveway I contacted The Tree Man for repairs to the damaged he caused to the concrete in my driveway, he refused to repair the damages that he caused. I just want the damages to my driveway repaired.

  *************** to the letter received about the above complaint.  We were hired by ***************** to cut up and remove a large fallen tree from his backyard.  In order to move the cut up pieces from the back to the front we were given permission from ***************** to use a mini excavator.  Before the equipment was driven onto Mr *******' property , we discussed the process and the concrete that was already broken before we got there.  His main concern was not bringing equipment on his grass and messing up the yard, which we did not.  ***************** spoke with myself and two other business partners about the broken concrete before we did any work on his property , asking if we did concrete repair work or if we knew of anyone that did.  During the entire job ***************** was cursing and yelling at myself and my worker, stating that he was known as a slave driver at his previous job, we were lazy, and we should not converse amongst ourselves while working.  When the job was complete ***************** never mentioned any issues with the concrete, nor did he mention it a week later when we were at his next door neighbors yard and he was outside watching us up in the tree.  The first I heard of the issue was weeks later when he called and yelled at us about his concrete.  I tried to have a conversation with him and even asked for photos, but he just yelled and said he would see us in court.  Based on the previous verbal exchanges, that the concrete had previously been broken before we arrived and that ***************** was fully aware of the broken concrete  during the job we did not continue to pursue any further interaction.
