      This was my worst experience at a doc in the box ive ever had. The doctor came in and looked in my throat and listened to my chest for maybe 30 seconds then was exiting the room as i was trying to tell him my symptoms. They gave me multiple quick covid and strep tests which came back negative but ended up being charged for each individual test, without my knowledge. The doctor was then so certain it was viral he wanted me to get a more thorough test, which came back negative, and was 500 dollars (****** after insurance) without insurance. I was never told the price or asked if it was something i was interested in, i was simply told i was getting another viral test completed. On top of this, i requested antibiotics for what i believed was an infection, the nurse informed me that the doctor would not give me antibiotics because he was so sure its viral, it wasnt.

      Dr ****** at MedHelp ordered a slew of laboratory tests. My insurance didn't accept his diagnosis code, so numerous labs were left not covered. I've tried to contact THREE different employees, one being the director. I'm getting ignored completely & NO ONE is resolving the problem. I simply want to speak with someone that will address this issue. I don't want to be ignored & get stuck paying almost $1000! If not, I want to be refunded the mass amount of money that I spent to see Dr ****** to pay off this bill. All my requests have been via text or portal message, with the exception of voicemails I have left with the director, **** ******, for which I have gotten zero response. I have copies of my correspondence if needed.

      ********** was given updated diagnosis codes on 11/18/24. It can take 30 to 45 business days for the insurance company to send out a new explanation of benefits.

      I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to Quest after receiving MedHelps reply. Quest stated that they received new dx codes, today, but not any earlier. I'm rejecting their inaccurate and not in good faith reply. I will accept it once the bill is appropriately reprocessed.

      I am rejecting this response because: nothing has yet been resolved. I already spoke with my insurance & quest MANY times. You guys flat out lied & avoided me. How is my behavior a problem- because I submitted a BBB complaint? That seems retaliatory but par for the course for dealing with your clinic! I wouldn't be sending another cent to your business but that is my decision & not yours.
