    We purchased a recliner from Boaz Discount Furniture on 01/03/2023. The seat and arm rests have already began sinking in and appear to not have enough stuffing to support normal every day use. The business inspected the furniture and said they could add more stuffing to the furniture. We were told if we refuse them to add more stuffing the warranty would be voided. The furniture is new and should not need more stuffing within a few weeks of purchase. We have pictures and good documentation of the events that followed purchasing the recliner.

    Good Afternoon,

    My name is ******** and I am the manager at Boaz Discount Furniture.  When ************* called and complained about the chair, I went out and inspected it myself.  It is made exactly like all the other recliners of that same style.  The manufacturer of the recliner offered to have more stuffing and filling added to the chair to make her happy.  She did not want this and wanted a refund on the chair.  The manufacturer does not offer this and they are the ones that said her warranty would be voided if she refused.  It was not Boaz Discount Furniture's decision on what to do.  We have to submit any complaints we receive to manufacturer's and they tell us what they will do.  We can only follow direction given to us by them.  Again this was not our decision, only following direction.  I would like to say again there was nothing wrong with the chair and customer also signed where she understood that there would be no refund or exchanges
