    The company did not provide us with any warranty, contract or other paper work related to service. *********************** the owner stated that we would receive all related paper work by mail the service was contracted in Feb for 2 HVAC units to which we only since a contract with the finance company for him to be paid. We want to ensure that the service contract is honored, and in the summer he/they are supposed to come back and make sure the cooling unit is charged. We were not treated fairly during the installation period and the owner was very unprofessional. We later learned that his HVAC license was not active at the time the we we entered into the service contract. By law he was not suppose to install the unit. I want to make sure that he did not receive ***** under false pretense.

    ***********************************, the owner, installed a new AC unit for us around July of 2022. He stated he would be e-mailing the warranty paperwork shortly after but never did. My husband and I spoke with him over the phone several times and each time he would state that he e-mailed it but we never received it. I provided an alternative e-mail and again, never received it. He eventually stopped responding. Before this, I referred him to a co-worker of mine and when he was in her home installing her AC unit, she asked about my warranty and he continued to tell her he would bring it out to her to give to me. This is why we did not report him for so long- we were trying to give him the benefit of the doubt being a small business owner. I have sent him numerous texts which I can see that he reads but does not respond. Recently, I saw another complaint on the Next Door app where he took money and did not install the unit. He then moved his business to ***** from **********. Without the warranty information, I have no way of knowing 1) if it is in fact under warranty or 2) if there is anything I need to be doing to avoid voiding the warranty.
