    I filed a warranty claim for a defect in my house from Stone Canyon Homes in August 2023. In June of 2024, they attempted to make repairs and the problem reoccurred within a couple of weeks. It has now been a year and all Ive gotten is broken promises. They will not answer the phone, respond to text messages or return calls left on voicemail. This is a tiny home builder in Brilliant Ala. and I have a sky deck on mine that leaks. The sky deck was a ****** dollar upgrade and I have yet been able to enjoy it

    Hi, We have been working with Stone Canyon Homes and ************ Homes in ****, ** (their distributor) since September of 2020. We signed a contract with them and our final blueprints for production and received the house on November 9th 2021. Fast forward to 11/4/2022, we have been requesting them to fix cosmetic issues in the house since the day it was delivered. In the beginning they were responsive but, no action. After following up every week for almost a year to get several things fixed that should have never left their dock, we are desperate but not sure if we should take legal action. We spent our money to build our dream house and want it to be right. Some of the issues we've been dealing with and working through include the following:*HVAC system was wired incorrectly and did not work in the dead of winter and through one of the hottest ******* on record. After many follow *** and ultimatums, we finally got it fixed in July 22.*Custom dresser in *************** is not evenly built or square. Drawers do not close all the way and k**** aren't centered *Barn door bracket on closet in queen ******* was clearly mounted wrong, taken off and remounted with holes left and not covered, sanded, or painted over *Kitchen cabinets - the right side of the kitchen cabinets are 3/4 of an inch lower than those on the left. Clearly visible when at the sink. One of the cabinets was built uneven and is clearly crooked when closed. *There was no insulation around the washer/drier vent and we had to put 5 cans of spray insulation to seal out the cold *Several other contractual agreements were also not followed - several *********** were not put in where needed, there is no garbage disposal or electrical outlet to allow for one, trim around windows and doors is not consistent, and they installed two different manufactured French doors which have since been changed out. This company will not call us back, respond to my emails, and I want them to fulfill their agreement
