I brought my motorcycle to this dealership in December of 2022 to trade in on a motorcycle. I was told they don't take trade ins but would be willing to take it in on consignment. I look at a few bikes and talked with the owner *****. He told me they would look at the bike and make sure everything was good on it then list it for sale. I then played the waiting game. I called a couple times in the month of December and was told they were really busy and they hadn't had time to look at the bike or list it for sale. In January I called back and was told there was a problem with my motorcycle. I can't recall exactly what was said but something to the affect that they would have to tear into the motor and look further. This was concerning but I had no reason or belief at the time that I was being lied to because the business was highly recommended by a few of my friends. After making several calls in January and February the bike got worse, and now was going to need a complete motor rebuild. I was told by ***** that the bike had been ridden until he got so hot that it blew a head gasket and has destroyed the motor internals and that it would need a complete motor rebuild as well as other more expensive motor parts. Each time I called there was more issues with the bike until it built to this total rebuild. They went to the extent of showing me the damage and I can tell you that there was severe damage to the motor. There is no way that I would not have noticed this damage before I took it to the dealership. This would be obvious to any mechanic or rider. I can't prove it but I believe someone accidently or intentionally damaged my motorcycle while it was under their care. I have since paid for a water pump, a head gasket and for the repairs of those items. Which was over 600 dollars. There is more to this when I was told that the bike was ready but turned out it wasn't. I did not have them do the complete motor rebuild that they wanted to perform.
