    Hello, I am filing this complaint on behalf on my father who is a handicapped senior citizen. My father purchased a washing machine in July 2023 from Lowes in ******, **. Beginning in the fall of 2023, the machine began to destroy his clothing, shredding shirts, underwear and towels. My father paid for a warranty and contacted ****** about a repair. ****** directed my father to Scott's Appliance Service in ******, **. After a delay to get the work approved (even with a warranty!), my father was told a part needed to be ordered to fix the drum of his washing machine. My father has been waiting for the part for over 2 weeks. Each time he contacts Scott's Appliance Service, he is told bad weather has delayed the delivery of the part. I contacted Scott's Appliance Service today on behalf of my father. I asked about the delay and asked to be given a date when the delivery would be possible. I was told there was no way they could tell me when the part would be sent from ******* (initially it was ****). They went on to blame ***** and *** telling me it was their fault and that ******* Appliance had no way to move this forward or get an estimate of when the part would be delievered. I asked if this could take another month...answer:yes. I would like this issue resolved. My father bought and paid for a warranty that is suppose to help with such repairs. He did not choose to use this company. He was told he had to. ******* does not seem very concerned about this slow delievery and has no intention of trying to get the process moving any time soon. Meanwhile, my father who is handicapped and lives alone, cannot do laundry properly without damage to clothing. Everytime he calls, they delay him by a week. Every. single. time. What's worse is a business that is not interested in helping resolve the issue. I would like that the part be delieverd within the next week so my father can use a machine that is not even one year old and again, under warranty.
