  I am appalled with the lack of professionalism or customer service. I was referred to A+ through my home warranty, ************, for a broken dishwasher.****'s initial response was great, allowing me to file the claim with the home warranty for a replacement dishwasher. From there, everything went downhill.**** told me he wouldn't install the dishwasher unless I sent him an extra $150 for electrical work that he claimed the home warranty wouldn't cover. He wanted me to send him the extra money without providing me an invoice & before he would do the work. I called the Home Warranty company. They said they would approve it as long as he requested it.He marked the service complete before it was completed & accepted payment from the home warranty company without installing the new dishwasher or removing the old one.When he finally went to the house to install the dishwasher, he said he couldn't do it because there was quarter round below the dishwasher. He told me he knew about this when he first went to the property weeks prior & didn't tell me. It would take him another week to get back to the house. When I asked him if a certain day of the week would work with his schedule, he snapped at me, stating he couldn't provide that information to me & said he would get there when he gets there.I removed the quarter round. At this point, the home warranty company sent him a letter stating he had to either complete the job or return the money. He came by & installed the dishwasher and placed the old one on the curb. He is responsible for haulaway but refuses to do it. He said he would only do it if the home warranty company told him to do so.He is refusing to answer calls from the home warranty company now. He says he doesn't have time to get to it for several weeks.He doesn't give appointment times, he just shows up when it is convenient for him. He complained about personal problems and how they are affecting his ability to do his job or make appointments.

  A+ responded within 20 minutes of the dispatch. It was a problem that imitated several causes. They were focused and determined to find the cause. A+ found the issue in a short period of time and reported to AHS quickly. They are very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant people. They kept me informed as to what they were doing and why. I may have them do other repairs.

  **** has mental issues I believe. He disturbs me. He came to my house, opened the fridge, said its the fan and Ill let you know when to unplug the fridge (because the freezer still works) and Ill call you and let you know when I get the fan ordered so you can unplug and thaw the frozen fridge. Never heard from him. Called him Monday. He said yea it will be here Wednesday, unplug it. Calls back same afternoon and says turn a fan on it, Ill be back Tuesday instead of Wednesday. He comes Wednesday with the wrong part. Duh!! Who opens a fridge up front and says yep thats what we need!! My husband wrote a necessary review on AHS home warranty page and when he did come back with the wrong part he had read and talked to me like trash after beating on my door with force and then ringing the door **** too incase his punches to my door wasnt enough for me to hear. This man is scary. I absolutely can not see why anyone can deal with him at all. He hollers at his grandson or son or whoever he has working with him and hes just a disgusting person. Dont waste your time. Also, he closed to work order with the American home shield place before he even began to finish the job. Save your time and dont use this guy. Hes unsafe.

  Sent by AHS, came quickly, repaired problem. Personally hired them to do two electrical projects for me, which they accomplished quickly.

  Complete incompetence from an AHS service company. Mike came to my house to fix my freezer and after opening the freezer and saying he saw nothing visually wrong with my freezer, other than not making ice and not freezing food, he asked me to go buy a thermometer and he would be back out 3 days later to replace my thermostat. One week later I got a notification from AHS shield saying my work order was closed. I called Mike and he told me that since I didn’t call him back with the temperature he assumed my freezer was working and so he took my money, told AHS things are fixed and never intended to contact me again. This company is either a scam or completely incompetent. Do not use and do not accept a service call from AHS with this company
