    When you click to make a reservation on their website, it takes you to a 3rd party website. In my case I used hotels.com. The room rate for 1 night was $49. They took my credit card info and gave me a receipt for the price, however, when I arrived I was told they had no such rate and that they were trying to get it removed and would not honor the price quoted me. I booked online in Feb. and my stay was in April. It seems they have had ample time to rectify this error but after paying the new price they gave me, I went online to try an book a room again and saw the price was still $49.     To whom I may concern,

    Dothan National Golf course and Hotel has experienced high volumes of reservations at $49 a night. Authorization for $49 rates were never given to any external booking website such as booking.com, Expedia, and/or Travelocity to name a few. However, throughout the past few months we have experienced several customer complaints that we are up charging them once they get to the hotel to check in. Dothan National is unable to book any room at $49 a night; Our set prices for hotel rooms are $79 or $89 a night depending on the room location. Throughout this experience, we have done everything in our power to accommodate customers without dropping our prices as low as $49 a night; we offered a 10% discount at the time of check-in and were very understanding of all cancellations. Also, we attempted to reach out to customers before arrival to prevent time being wasted for both ** and the customer however, we had such a large volume we were unable to keep up with the amount of bookings coming in. After several calls to external booking websites with hopes to fix the issue, it took several weeks to officially change our prices back to that set by Dothan National.
