      I am doing this complaint for my dad he is elderly and has been trying to get National Security Group to fix the roof. His roof was damaged in the storm and in 2023 it caved in and he has been trying to get assistance. He pays every month and they refuse to fix it. They are taking advantage of the elderly. They cover his property but wont fix anything and continue to take his money. Its fraud and its a shame they are abusing the elderly. They keep threatening to cancel his insurance every time he makes a claim. Please help with this matter.

      The customer had a roof and interior damage claim in November 2020 and received an actual cash value claim payment to replace the roof and repair the interior. The customer reported another claim on March ******, concerning the property made the subject of the November 2020 claim. The reported claim was promptly assigned to an adjuster for inspection.

      The adjuster inspection revealed that the roof had not been replaced as allowed for in the November 2020 claim, nor had the interior damage been repaired. The customer was promptly notified by letter of the denial of the March 3, 2023 claim, and the reasons for said denial. The customer was also informed that the adjusters inspection revealed new wind damage to the window screens but that the costs to repair this damage would be less than the policy deductible. We believe this claim was handed in good faith and fair dealing and in accordance with the policy terms and condition. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know.
