    H313737333334373034**H moved my household goods from ********** to *******, ** on May 22, 2023. This was not the most efficient nor successful move I&#**;ve made. To that end, I&#**;m willing to overlook several negative aspects H31353438**3835**3432H provided such as showing up late to my Athens residence due to their primary H313533**333734363133H truck breaking down and leaving some furniture items ( adjustable bed base, living room sectional, exercise bike) partially assembled/connected. However, I am not willing to overlook a broken living room sectional recliner damaged. I noticed the broken recliner a day or two after the move. I promptly notified H333731**323835323031H who said they would send a representative to my home to inspect the damage. That rep failed to show for several weeks. When the rep showed up in July2023, he inspected the recliner and said H333731**323835323031H would be in touch with us to discuss the issue further. In Aug., I called the local (Dogtown West Furniture Outlet) where I purchased the recliner in 2022 as well as the recliner&#**;s manufacturer. The cost quoted to repair my recliner was approximately $1744.00. I informed H333731**323835323031H of the cost and sent them the attached repair estimate in late August. I have yet to hear from them on their intent to repair my recliner. H333731**323835323031H has taken the path of being extremely difficult to contact since notified of my issue. We have called H333731**323835323031H over 20 times and sent several texts to inquire with the path forward to repair my recliner. I have yet to hear from them. H333731**323835323031H H3234**30**3637363731H has liability insurance for instances where items are damaged in transit.

    I recently sent Unicity Movers a certified e-mail informing them of my intent to file a claim in Madison County ** Small Claims Court.  Letter was sent 12 Oct 23 and should have been delivered to the business 16 Oct 23.  I'd like their rating dropped on BBB to the lowest rating possible.  5+ months to perform a simple claim against their business' insurance to fix my sectional is simple, easy stuff.  A reputable moving company would have fixed this issues in a week or two.  I'm also going to go on *************** and other social media outlets and describe my experience, or lack thereof.   will be contacting a lawyer next week to take them to court in the next ***** days.  Please call me at ************, should you wish to discuss further.
