  Initially when I purchased a vehicle with *** in ******, I put down a $10K deposit; I traded in the vehicle a few days later for another vehicle, with an additional $10k deposit. After 18 months of keeping the vehicle, I inquired about another vehicle, due to minor maintenance issues, at which.. the dealer informed me that my vehicle would be $2k in negative equity due to depreciation. Upon finalizing paperwork, I discovered that they added an additional $10k worth of debt to the newly purchased vehicle.. at which I wouldve retained my original vehicle if that had been disclosed. The *** ********** in Dothan AL and Enterprise AL are owned by the same people.. but yet the one in enterprise not only assured me that the *** in Dothan screwed with my paperwork.. but also proceeded to s**** me even harder than Dothan did. And after discussing my concerns with the salesman regarding what they charged me for my trade in, he informed me that I could pay $4k and they would take the vehicle back. Upon me attempting to do so, the managers exclaimed that he didnt have the power to make that call and also that I would have to pay more than that. All business was done through ***, so it wasnt like I got a vehicle from a Chevrolet ********** and they paid them for the vehicle, and yet, despite having the same owners AND being the same company, they insist that they not only can account for the $20k I put down plus 18 months of payments.. but also that they have no connection with Dothan excluding the knowledge to inform me that I got screwed over.

  This complaint is filed against Enterprise Kia, however since Enterprise Kia and Dothan *** has the same ownership the response will reflect both Dealerships.

  The customer did purchase 2 New Vehicles from Dothan *** on back-to-back days 8/2/22 and 8/3/22. There was a down payment put down on each transaction. The customer then came into ********************** on 3/16/24 and purchased a New vehicle. There was a down payment on the transaction as well. During the transaction with Enterprise Kia there was a trade. This was the vehicle that was traded from the second transaction that was done with ********** on 8/3/22. 

  Each transaction stands on its own and involves both a New Vehicle "purchase vehicle" and a Used vehicle "trade vehicle". Each transaction has its own set of circumstances in which involves the customers decision of what vehicle they desire and amount to be paid down to arrive at a payment that the customer agrees to. Each transaction has its own set of documents that fully disclose everything that the customer has agreed upon with the select Dealership. 

  We did a review of each transaction and we found that all details of each transaction were fully disclosed, and all paperwork involved in each vehicle purchase was signed and agreed by the customer.
