Nichols Heating and Air installed a central heating and cooling unit at our house on 3/26/22. The unit stopped working on 1/3122. I called them on 1/31/22 the day of the failure and told them about the problem and was told someone would call me back. 2/2/23 arrived and still no one had returned my call. I called them again on this date and was told the person that did the repairs had a death in the family and could do nothing until the next week. I am filing this complaint at 5:30 pm on 2/7/23 and my wife and I have still heard nothing from them. The unit is under warranty and the company that installed the unit should be willing to repair it. My wife and I are both disabled and the temperature has varied over the past 7 days to where we needed the heat and air at different times. It is deplorable to me that nothing has been done but no one has even bothered to call with a time to come for the repair. I lost both of my parents while I was still working and had to return to work after 3 days each time. I see no excuse for the delay in responding to our problem.

I had a heating unit installed 9/10/21 on Oct. 21/22 called and told that the heating system wasn't working. Called again 24/22 and was told that it had been reported to ***************************. Never received a reply or service.

    Hello, This is ***** Nichols.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused

******************. His call slipped through the cracks during a major overload

in our heating season. I would like to help him with his service fees; although

his 1 year labor warranty had expired prior to him placing the call in October.

    Thank you!

I can't understand how come Nichols Heating and Air would not pay for the repair. If the labor warranty expired in Sept. and the calls were made in Oct. and I spent $5300 what's wrong with paying for the expensive repairs. Especially when you let a customer slip through the crack that needed your help on equipment you installed that was no fault of my own. A loose wire and a loose coupling on the gas line. How much time would that have taken to take the time to just look at something you installed? Multiple calls and no response. You were through with me because you got paid and wasn't going to miss other and bigger money taking time with me.
