    I won several collector cards from an online auction called HiBid where Shoals had an auction held. I won the auction and immediately paid the invoice. I reached out to ****** after no communication for 1 week. He responded via saying that he would ship out my order tomorrow and email me a tracking number tomorrow. To this day I have received no merchandise, and after numerous attempts, I have received no communication back from him. These people are crooks!!

    Hello,I'm filing this complain related to purchase I made with Shoal Family Antiques through the website HiBid. I purchase three items from Shoal Family Antiques, paid for the items and shipping. However, Shoal Family Antiques only shipped 2 of the 3 items purchased. When I received the packaged, I contacted Shoal Family Antiques where I was informed the other item was on the way in a separate package. After a week, I contacted Shoal Family Antiques again and they changed their story to say it was just shipped and provided me with a new tracking number. After another week I checked and the tracking number showed the package was never delivered to the post office ( stuck in Label created phase). Finally, I contacted Shoal Family Antiques again and they informed me the item was likely lost. They offered to provide me with a refund, but never followed through with the refund after multiple requests. Shoal Family Antiques was very rude, unprofessional, and deceitful in their customer service. They still owe me a refund but I am forced to contact my bank to seek to dispute the charge since Shoal Family Antiques will now not respond to my attempts to contact.

    I bid on a 14K gold ring on their auction site. On April 4, 2024 they took $482.60 out of my account as I was the high bidder. I then called and asked about shipping.He told me that it was a beautiful ring and I got it for such a great priced to the value of the ring. He then said that I would get it in a week due to me paying with debit card instead of credit card. On April 13, 2024 I had not received the ring so I E-Mailed them. He wrote that I would receive it by next week. I wrote again on April 24, 2024. He then wrote me back on April 26, 2024 stating that he was sorry and he had been in the hospital. He wrote that he would pay to have it delivered quicker and would 100% get it out today. May 1, 2024 I once again sent an E-mail due to no one ever answering when I call. They no longer answer my e-Mails either.

    I have text messages from him that says hes going to refund my money in the morning and he did not. I have copies of all the emails he has made about 12 excuses, but he says that he is going to refund my money the next morning and he never did and now he wont take my calls or anything again.

    He answered a text again and said that there might be a mix up and he would Venmo me my money tomorrow . That was May 25th. he no longer takes my calls or answers text or e-mails.

    I won a lot of jewelry from an auction with this business on March 22. I have yet to get my items almost 2 months later. I paid the day I won the items. I have been told the items were shipping that day or the next several times. I then was told.. he didnt know why his wife didnt ship them, then he had been in the hospital, then he was shipping that day and the label was made and I was given a tracking number but it says it was only printed and never taken to post office. Then, he was waiting for a return call from post master and they were looking for it in the back room at the post office. Now, no response to my texts. I have asked for the items or a refund several times! I will now have to take further action! So disappointed, I really just wanted the items! It was over a $500 purchase! And before they say I had to ask for shipping, I did that immediately as well. Also, he did tell me it takes 10 days for items, I graciously understood and have been very patient. This has got me nowhere.

    On March 5th, 2024 I won four lots in a Shoal's auction on HiBid. These lots were never received. I contacted *****'s and received an email from *********************************** on April 12th, 2024. He gave me the excuse that the family had contracted Covid and got far behind on shipping. He told me he would mail out my items immediately along with $50 worth of extras to make things right. Over a month later and after NUMEROUS efforts to contact them, I have received nothing in the mail and no emails have been answered.

    Won a pair of shoes, paid over $130 3 weeks ago and they refuse to even send a tracking number. Its been radio silence since the auction closed. Update- they sent a tracking number a week ago but the items havent been dropped off. I left a ****** review and received harassing messages from *******. I just want my money back at this point.

    I bought a Diamond ring from them that was 10k gold. I took it in to get it appraised for our homeowners insurance and was informed that the diamonds were not natural diamonds and gold ring was merely plated. After contacting them I received nothing but rude feedback and accusations basically saying I was lying. I have a feeling a lot of people got scammed at this auction and its not right. Thank you for you time.

    Won a lot for $28 in an online auction with this company on 6-11-2023. Paid for item, and shipping costs. ****** has refused to send items I bought and will not issue a refund.

    On 6/30/2023 I won 5 sports cards I won in Shoals Family Auction on Hibid.com all 5 were counterfeit cards. They were all advertised as authentic cards. I ask Shoal's Family Auction if the cards were authentic before I paid with my **** credit card and was told that they guaranteed them to be authentic and the person that consigned the cards with them also guaranteed the cards were authentic cards. They were advertised as rare authentic and the date of the card. These sports cards were advertised as high dollar cards but all of them were counterfeit. After I paid I was told that *****'s Family Auction would ship the cards out the next day express mail so I would have them before the 4th of July. When I didn't receive the cards or a tracking number, I called and texted Shoal's Family Auction many times. I left 7 voice messages which they never returned a call. I was never able to make contact with them at all after I gave them my credit card information. When I received the package on 10 July 2023 it was sent only Priority Mail plus it was only insured for $100. If Shoal's Family Auction believed the cards were real they would have insured the package for the entire amount of $9448.74. Not just $100. Shoal's Family Auction knew the cards were counterfeit before they shipped the cards I won. This meant they intentionally tried to pass the cards off as real to me. This is Fraud!! After I took the cards to ******************** and they also confirmed the cards were fake. I attempted again to contact *****'s Family Auction, they would not answer the phone or respond to my messages. I also let them know the cards were counterfeit and that a reputable card shop had looked at them. If they were a reputable auction house they would immediately ask for the cards back and refund my money but they didn't. Like me the Card Shop could tell immediately the cards were counterfeit fake cards not the real cards that were advertised in the Shoal's Family Auction.
