    This company first off states on the web that they offer " worry free warranty's" on each vehicle. ( The owners very words ). It also states in the owners very words "we include a worry free warranty with every purchase" it helps take of the car after it is sold. If there are any issues "we" take care of them. We want to take care of people after they bought a car from here. They also state on there business page front that they are a **** dealer providing repair services, new and used vehicles, and courtesy loaners. I beg to differ I don't know who gave 5 star ratings but for my family of color yes these things must have been forgotten about or didn't apply to us since we did just recently on 11-22-24 purchase a vehicle that I begged for a warranty just in case of issues, I was immediately met with the loan financed wasn't enough to buy a warranty but then I stated that I am willing to purchase a warranty direct from Basswood dealership but again I was met with go to car shield! This entire sale was fraudulent and misleading. The salesman failed to disclose that the vehicle that wasn't on their website in inventory, one night was there in the next day or so, was a fresh trade in and or auction car, and it had not yet been sent off for state regulation inspections. The truck already had pre existing conditions because no way in h*** that flywheel destroyed itself within several weeks. The sad thing about this entire miscarriage and misconduct is we were told that the truck had all these features that it didn't when we finally arrived to the car lot, he told us that the truck was in excellent condition no issues with the engine or transmission, Carfax was clean and yet still haven't shown me the papers and proof I asked for back in November 2024. Within 8 days of purchase I was already calling and texting **** ******* and Basswood service center to let them know the truck keeps cutting off they have refused to fix anything but they lied about the worry free warrenty

    As a dealership we have tried to reach out to Mr. ****** to help resolve this matter. This dealership does not have vehicles available for loaning out while vehicles are in our service department. Mr. ****** stated he would unable to leave his vehicle. Mr. ****** has refused to leave the vehicle with our service department for a diagnosis of any concerns. Unfortunately, Mr. ****** was not approved in his loan amount to purchase a warranty. All vehicles are sold AS-IS. Mr. ****** as well as Mr. ******** signed this notice (attached) As a courtesy to Mr. ****** we have paid his diagnostic fee at the dealership where he took his vehicle. After three months after purchase. 

    In closing let me clarify that the salesman in the complaint Mr. **** ******* is not longer an employee at Basswood CDJR. On an unrelated matter.
