      I found our condo in *********** through the Alabama Vacation Home Rentals & contacted the owner to book our week. I liked the idea of paying the owner directly & we communicated for months through emails assuring he received payments on the condo. After the last check was sent, I didnt get an email like I always did & tried to reach the owner for over a week w no success! I reached out to **** & received a call within the hour reassuring me that they verify that their home owners are *********** would look into it! I cant tell you the relief I had after speaking to ***** @ AVHR! Everything turned out ok,,, the owner was just out of the area w no cell service! Thx again to Alabama Vacation Home Rentals for the excellent communication & prompt attention to my concerns of our upcoming ****??

      Found this web site on ********* Found a place through it. Web site easy to use. You put in what dates where you want to stay ! Yes you do have to look at properties yourself, it might take a little time but you save all those high booking fees and *** answered my questions when I called on Saturday . You do have to leave a message on the phone, but ***** got back to us very quickly when I had another question. We booked with Owner directly he got back to us promptly and you do not pay all the higher fees, very easy and was highly satisfied. Will definitely use them again. Again if you have a problem call them they are very willing to help. All owners are verified.

      Tried finding a rental for family vacation. I got this final response to my final inquiry, "We are not property managers. Each listing on ALAVHR is individually owned and operated. ". I never ask them to book a vacation, but to help me find the right accomodations. I'm sure the owners would love this response for the money being paid to this company.
