We rented a trailer from this company. The first day we entered the premises to clean in we realized there was a cockroach infestation. We immediately took pictures and videos and contacted the landlord. They refused to treat the problem. They said there was no infestation after we sent them pictures of live and dead cockroaches. Thousands! Mounds and nests of cockroaches. I have a newborn baby and concerned about the sanitary and health risks could not stay there. Several times I have contacted them over the last few days and they refuse to exterminate.

      MESSAGE FROM
      BUSINESS:
      ***** ***** have
been talking to a potential tenant, ********* ******, since Monday, July 25,
2022, about a unit that would be coming open soon. ********* ****** filled out
the first application on May 2, 2022. The potential tenant was very insistent
that they needed the place by Friday, July 29, 2022, stating they had to be out
of the place they were in by that Friday, July 29, 2022. A tentative lease was
signed on July 25, 2022, so the potential tenant could get the utilities on in
their name. The potential tenant was informed that unless the last part of the
lease was completed the lease was not valid. The potential tenant, *********
******, was informed that new carpet in the living room and flooring in the
kitchen was in the process of being laid and an exact date could not be given
for them to move in. ********* ****** was informed that we would begin to
conduct the final cleaning of the unit on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Stephanie
was informed that we would try, and have it finished by Friday, but we could
not promise. On Thursday afternoon, July 28th, 2022, it was determined that we
would need more than 2 days to clean the unit. The potential tenant was
informed that the unit had been treated for and cleared of a roach infestation,
but the walls and cabinets still needed to be scrubbed. When ********* ******
was notified Thursday afternoon, July 28, 2022, she was offered a choice, since
she was so adamant that she needed the unit by that Friday, the first one was
to wait until we finished cleaning the unit which would not be completed until
the following week. Or second, if she would like to clean the unit that we
would credit her half of the security fee ($645/2= $322.50) $322.50 for the
inconvenience. ********* ****** stated that she wanted to move in right away
and would take the discount. Upon ********* ****** arrival at DeVenturi
Enterprises Inc., Thursday, July 28th, 2022, the owner insisted that the
potential tenant, ********* ****** walk through the unit before she signed the
final paper. A walk through was conducted right away. ***** ***** took
      ********* ****** and ****** ****** to *** ** **** ***** ***, Hamilton, AL
35570, ****** ****** is not listed on the lease as a tenant, only as a visitor.
Once the walk through was conducted, ********* ****** stated that she would
take the offer of a reduced security fee. ********* ****** arrived back at
DeVenturi Enterprises Inc., and was met by the owner. Dr. DeVenturi again asked
********* ****** if the reduction in security fee for her to conduct the cleaning
was still what she wanted since we knew that it would take several days to
completely clean the walls, ********* ****** stated, yes. The lease was
      finalized.
      Later that evening,
      Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:42 p.m. a text message was sent to ***** *****
but was not seen until the next morning, from the mother of ****** ****** (not
on the lease), Angela Shrewsbury stating the place had roaches. All the tenant
could send were pictures of dead roaches which they knew were there due to
having the place treated twice. Once on 3-22-22 and again on 7-1-22. It took
the ********* ****** 4 days to send a video of 1 live roach of which there was
no proof that it came from the unit. On July 30, 2022, the tenant was offered
her money back in full and the lease would be voided if she felt she needed to
move out. The tenant agreed to the offer. She was texted back and was informed
that since a Church paid the rent of $375 that the check would have to be
written back to the church. ****** texted back and said that was fine. The
following day, Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 7 a.m.  ****** sent a text message stating she was not
leaving and will force us to call an
      exterminator. On
Monday, August 1, 2022, Dr. Tammy DeVenturi called ********* ****** to meet in
person, she would not meet. On Tuesday morning, ********* ******’s mother
called and asked me to meet with Stephanie that day and look for myself. On
      Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 4 p.m., **** and ***** ***** met ********* and
****** at *** I Dr. Tammy DeVenturi had foot surgery and was unable to
physically attend myself. The walk through was videotaped (see videos) and no
live roaches were seen. The tenant has removed the base boards and chair rails
off the walls in the living room. When the tenant was asked where they saw live
roaches or any infestations, ****** would point to the areas where there had
been an infestation but had already been taken care of. The tenant was
complaining about the areas they had agreed to clean for the discount on the
security fee, photos of the unit the day the tenant signed the lease are
      documented.
      Mr. *****’s mother informed
her son that if there were trails on the wall that it meant that there was an
infestation. The tenant was informed that there was an infestation that we did
take care of completely. Over a three-week period, a lot of work had been done
to include removing the infestation and new flooring. We have four signed
statements from individuals who had worked in the unit replacing the carpet and
repairs that no live roaches or anything else had been seem only dead ones. I
also have an addendum that was signed by the tenant, ********* ******
acknowledging that she received a reduced security fee in exchange for her to
finish the cleaning. The tenant also states this on a video. We also have a
video of a walk through conducted on 8-2-22 at 4 p.m. if which all the cabinet
doors were open, and no live roaches were seen. Documentation also includes
photos with time stamps dated the day before and the day of the tenant signing
the lease agreement. Ms. ***** verbally acknowledged the agreement on video and
      in writing.
      We have received
verbal and written threats from the tenant as well as from their family (Angela
Shrewsbury) to include negative reviews and comments on DeVenturi Enterprises
      Inc., google review account.
      I cannot treat
something that did not exist. Mr. Mosier believed that the marks on the wall
would go away if we sprayed again. He was informed that this would not go away,
and that Ms. ***** agreed to clean the cabinets and walls for a discount. The
pictures you were sent were of dead roaches that the tenant knew they had to
clean. I have the pictures of the unit of the day they moved in to prove this
fact. Also, the signed agreement from the tenant. And copies of all the
communication between all parties trying to make them happy. Mr. ***** refused
to believe that the lines would not go away with spraying because his mother
told him. We were caught in a no-win situation.
      This is just a
summary of the documentation that I have and will send you if you would like it
all. Just let me know what you would like copies of to back my statement up.
