    On 1/11/2024 at 4:20 PM i visited this gas station to buy gas and prepaid $20 to cashier name *****. I clearly told him I was at the pump behind one and pointed out my red car. I went out and thought started to pump gas and cleaned out my car. I came back and it was stuck on $17 and thought the pump was messed up, so I was in a hurry for work and headed to *******. I noticed my near empty fuel light was on. I had to call both ******* chamber of commerce and the south ******* marathon to get their phone number since it wasnt listed. I called back , told ***** what happened and he told me he was sorry , to come back down , his manager was there and would take care of me . He didnt seem to remember me. When i got there i showed him my low fuel light and discovered he had turned on pump 4 and the pump i turned out to be on was 2 . The previous person had gotten the $17 in gas. He willfully started to lie and claimed i gave him the pump number which i didnt even know them because i rarely have ever stopped at that store. He accused me of lying and really upset me and wouldnt make things right. They rushed me away from the gas pumps , as i was really stressed and had a small fender ****** backing up. I am not sure yet if someone else got the gas or it wasnt gotten at the wrong pump he turned on. They were beyond rude and told e to get out of their store.

    1-23-2024 Mr. *************************** (cashier) called BBB to say, he will refund you the $20.00 from his own money to make this right. ******************** will get paid on Feb 2, so please come on that day to get your money.

    I want to clear things up additionally of lies that *************************** told the ******* ************************ .Back to my original statement,I never told him any pump number other than on the other side of pump one where the red car is ,which turned our to be pump 2 .******************* first suggested 5 and come to find out it was pump 4 he turned on so it proves I got nothing .I also suggested that the manager on duty check the video cameras.secondly ,***** told them my car was on 1/4th a tank snr I have attached a god time stamp picture proving that was lie as it shows clearly with the gas light on empty .Third the fender ****** in the parking lot you could say the Marathon station could be partially to blame for because instead of them fixing the issue they treated me unethically. He also lied and told the ******* ************************ he was outside and saw it when the truth was he was inside helping customers and came out after . Additionally he stated i begged the other driver to not call police which is a total lie even though it was private property so only an incident not accident report could be filed .He wasn't out there and doesn't know the conversation between us and barely came out asking if he needed to call police .I don't appreciate him lying all I asked was he own up to his lies and mistakes and give an apology. My counter resolution is they mail me a check for the gas plus a small fee for wasting my time and gas to come back down there and still didn't make it right . I can't believe they keep ******************* as an employee if he can't tell the truth and runs such unethical business practices.

    I am rejecting this response because: all I asked is he apologized and own up to his mistakes and lies and additionally mail me a check plus a small cost of expenses that were incurred by making me drive back to the location and not resolving it . I am not comfortable going back to the premises of a business that has such unethical business practices.

    2-20-2024  **************** contacted the BBB saying he has not received the $20.00 refund from Mr. **************************** **************** wants this money mailed to him.

    I am rejecting this response because: I do not travel down in that area unless when I have a job occasionally and would cost more gas money to get it.It would be easy for him to mail it to me at address on file with the BBB.Hes just being difficult.I already wasted more gas in the first trip back because they told me to come there and wouldn't fix it then

    Ok please leave a negative **** for this business as they don't do good business nor serve the consumer in a proper way .
