We first contacted this company about replacing our ductwork under our house which seems to be falling apart. This contact was initiated in May and/or June 2022. They wanted half of the estimate paid down. My husband paid them $3,000 in May of 2022. He still has the receipt. The first week of December 2022 we received a phone call telling us that they would be at our residence to replace the ductwork. We called a lawyer and he told us to contact the owner of the business and we did this sometime late January or early February 2023. Since then we have been told they would be here next week to replace the ductwork. Again, three times now, they never showed up to do the work we thought we had contracted them to do and made a down payment for.

I am filing this complaint on behalf of *********************** Church located on ******************************************* in **********, *******. On 4/23/2021 we received an estimate to fix one of the large A/C units at our church. The estimate was for $12,860. We accepted the estimate and paid Chenault ******************************************* (per their request) $8,300. That check was cashed by Chenault ******************************************* on May 7, 2021. To date our A/C unit had not been fixed!Mr. ********************** said they had problems getting the equipment because of supply chain issues caused by Covid 19 but because Central paid in advance ($8,300) we would be first on the list to get the equipment and repairs when the equipment arrived. Several attempts to call/text Mr. ********************** were not answered thus a personal visit to Mr. ********************** was made. He said he has had problems with the supplier of the equipment but assured us the repairs would be made as soon as he received the equipment. That visit was made in March or early April of 2022. Mr. ********************** has been ignoring our attempts to communicate with him since 9/03/22. Central sent him a registered letter to fix our A/C unit or refund our deposit of $8,300. This letter was sent to his P.O. Box but was not picked up.Central Assembly of God requests that our deposit of $8,300 be refunded immediately.
