Our apartment flooded on 1/17/2024 due to the fire sprinkler systems bursting. *********************************************************************************** and ripping up certain parts of the carpet. It is currently 1/21/2023 and there is still no timeline or answers for what the course of action will be. We were told that it was on us to find accommodations for housing even this wasnt our fault at all. Pictures do not do justice to the damage. Our mattress as well as all of our clothes were completely soaked. Our bedroom tv was damaged, bedroom furniture, other various electronics such as guitar amps, and so much more.

My compressor went out at my apartment. Maintenance said he could not fix it bc it’s the outside compressor. Then I was told that it would be a month until they can get it resolved due to 4 other compressors that have gone out before mine so I have to wait in line. He said it will be about a month or so until Maintenance could get me one ordered. Then I was told by the maintenance man to put my heat on emergency heat. I asked would that make my power bill go up high. He said no. I did some research and just like I thought it will in fact make my power bill go up. The weather has been cool one day and warm another day. So I turned on my air conditioner and instead of the thermostat showing it was cooling off the house it was going up from 72 to 77 after I set it on 72. I went to talk to the people in the rent office and they had no remorse. The woman in the rent office said, “They didn’t break it.” And if I want to be warm use the emergency heat. I ask could they could deduct money from my rent for the inconvenience and me not getting the full use of my apartment in which I’m paying for and they said no they don’t do that. I am very unhappy. I pay my rent on time every since I have lived in my apartment for 3 years. My current rent ranges from $************. I have 2 kids. We are very uncomfortable. This is not fair at all!!!!!!
