      My experience with Aprio was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. The organization I work for used their services for tax preparation and yearly audit. Despite numerous attempts to address my concerns regarding their services, I was met with silence and unresponsiveness from their team. In the end we received late tax returns and audit, which held up other compliance tasks for our organization. When the audit was finally shared with us there was a huge mistake that had to be pointed out by our staff for Aprio to correct. Based on our experience going through the 2023 audit with our new auditors, I have serious doubts that the audit provided by Aprio meets industry standards.During the preparation of our 2022 tax returns and audit, Aprio's communication was abysmal. Despite reaching out to ***** and other staff members repeatedly over weeks and months, I received little to no acknowledgment or assistance regarding updates and numerous missed deadlines. This lack of communication was indicative of a broader issue that plagued our entire engagement with Aprio.Throughout the process, Aprio consistently failed to meet deadlines and provide accurate information regarding the status of our returns. Despite assurances of timely completion, we were left in limbo for months, wasting valuable staff time following up for responses that were never forthcoming. They completely stopped acknowledging or responding to our accountant, which necessitated further staff time to dedicate to managing communication and follow-up that could have happened directly between Aprio and our accountant. Because of these numerous shortcomings and the considerable additional resources expended on our end to manage our engagement with Aprio, we requested a partial refund of $6,250, which was denied. I would not recommend Aprio's services to any future clients.
