    Email sent on 28 June, 2024 Hi, I purchased two brown leather recliner chairs at Urban Market, *******, ** in March 2024. I stopped by the ***** in *******, AL over a month ago to inquire about my order because no one has been thoughtful enough to call, text, or email. Seeing the moving truck as I arrived at the *****, it was blatantly obvious the Madison ***** was closing and customers with pending orders were not important. The gentleman moving the ***** belongings onto the truck was kind enough to tell me to call the Birmingham *****. I did just that the next day. The lady I spoke with, forgot to get her name, could not find my order. She assured me that she would investigate and someone would contact me about my order. I have called the Birmingham ***** twice more. They see my order, but tell me they will call me with an update. Well, I am still waiting. I ask that someone knowledgeable about my order provide an update. Please reply, text, or call me at your earliest convenience. If Urban Market chooses not to contact me, I have no other recourse than contact the corporate office, file a better business bureau complaint, and leave a few displeasing reviews.Patiently waiting to hear from you, ********************* ************

    On March 20, 2024, the **** paid to Urban Home Market, LLC by check $24,807.78 as payment in full on furniture which would be customized, in part, for its fabrics. At that time, Urban Home Marker said the **** could expect delivery of all furniture within six to eight weeks. Some furniture was delivered but the remaining amount for the furniture still not delivered is $20,486.00.As the due date approached, the **** regularly checked on the status and were met with evasive answers, particularly since the original salesperson is no longer employed by Urban Home Market. Eventually, the **** were told by ********************* (owner) that she simply did not know when the remaining furniture would be delivered. A subsequent conversation with ******************** (owner) was the same in substance. The **** have repeatedly been assured that there would be contact with the manufacturer but, like the original agreement to provide the furniture, these covenants have all been breached.Finally, Urban Home Market agreed to have a refund check for the **** on Thursday, June 20, 2024. When the **** arrived at the store to pick it up, once again another representation was breached. The explanation was that it will take another two weeks for their off-the-shelf QuickBooks accounting system to generate a check, which is a false and misleading statement. Either way, it has now been almost three weeks and no refund has been received.It is our conclusion that Urban Home Market has wrongfully converted the payment made in good faith to them and has committed the following: breach of contract, breach of a covenant of good faith and fair dealing, fraud, unjust enrichment, deceptive trade practices and breach of warranty.

    Purchased a sofa on 2/7/24. Still have not received the sofa or any information regarding my order. I have attempted to contact the business multiple times through email, phone and DMs. I even spoke to the owner once and he assured me that he would return my call the next day. It has been 2 weeks with no return calls. I would like a refund for this sofa.
