In Sept. I went into Massage Envy (Greystone) to have a massage. I also paid for my husband to have one as well. A Representative asked me if I wanted to sign up for a Massage Envy membership. I stated no. She assured me that it was risk free and all I had to do was call within a certain time frame to cancel considering I wouldn't be billed until 30 days afterwards. I called the same representative back within the suggested time frame stated and asked that it gets cancelled considering I looked at my schedule and knew that there was no way that my schedule would permit due to after school sports, etc. Well in December I noticed my online banking displayed a pending charge from Massage Envy for $240.00. I called several stores no one could locate a membership for me so eventually I reached out to Jordan **************** and she asked that my bank release the authorization considering no membership was found. The charge still went through. I called massage envy again and finally got a manager *******. ******* was very inconsiderate and stated she had a contract on file that I had signed. I explained to her that I had cancelled this membership. She stated the representative didn't work there any longer and she had no way to prove my cancellation. I told her why did they wait almost 90 days to charge my account, and if the first payment wasn't made, how did I still have a membership? ******* stated she would have her manager to contact me. That never happened. I have reached out to corporate who asked that the franchise manager of the store would contact me. The franchise manager has ignored each request, including corporates request.
