I am writing to address a serious issue regarding the lease I signed in February 2025 for a vehicle purchased through your dealership. When finalizing the deal, I was under the clear impressionbased on both past experience and our discussionsthat the applicable taxes would be included in the sale price of the vehicle, as is standard when leasing or purchasing a car. Unfortunately, this has not been the ******* temporary tag has expired, and upon inquiring with the salesperson about my permanent tag, I was instructed to pick it up at the ***. When I went to the ***, I was informed that I owe over $4,200 in taxes before the tag can be issued. This was the first time I was made aware of such an amount. I was later told by your team that the dealership was unable to calculate Georgia taxes at the time of sale and that I had supposedly been informed Id need to pay them out of pocket. I do not recall being told this, and had I known, I would not have agreed to the lease. The primary reason I chose to lease was to secure a lower monthly payment with the understanding that all upfront costsincluding taxeswere covered. This unexpected charge completely undermines that goal and, frankly, feels like a bait and switch. It was clear from the outset that this was an out-of-state transaction, and proper procedures should have been followed ************** this point, I feel I am being given the runaround, and I am extremely uncomfortable with how this situation has been handled. To resolve this matter, my proposed solution is as follows:1. The dealership covers the tax amount in full, and I continue the lease as outlined in the agreement. 2. We cancel the deal, and you take the car back with no financial penalty to me. 3. You issue an extended temporary tag immediately while this matter is resolved. Please respond promptly with your position on this matter. I would like to resolve this issue amicably, but I am prepared to take further steps if necessary.

We understand your concerns and apologize for any confusion that may have been created.  However, it was specifically noted at the time of delivery that any additional taxes and fees due at the time of registration would be your responsibility. We have leased multiple vehicles to customers in ******* and have never had an issue like yours occur.  We collected the required taxes that allowed us to lease the vehicle to you and Acura Financial funded your deal without hesitation.  We want to assure you that no malice was intended as we always strive to ensure complete and absolute transparency. All proper procedures were followed on our end; we emailed a new temporary tag to you yesterday as requested. Once again, we do empathize with you on the complexity of your experience in registering your new vehicle.

There have been a number of issues with the vehicle and they either can't or refuse to fix the issues. I purchased a 2023 Acura TLX new in April 2023. Have had door seal, wind noise issues that haven't been resolved and a brake issue that they refuse to fix. I even filed a claim with NCDS and was awarded a repair but the dealership still refused to honor the warranty and findings.
