      Apex Roofing does not have very good customer relations, their Project Manager and their Quality Control Manager do not return my calls. Apex sub-contracted out our roof installation and they did a sloppy job. After removing old roof, they installed the matting and then left the area only to return later that evening and ripped up the matting and installed plywood in several areas, then reapplied the matting. After the initial inspection was completed, the roofers returned to install the new roof. They took a long break and returned that evening to complete the installation that night. (When you could not see). Most of the problems occurred during that time frame. They left high nail areas on back side of house, they did not install the vent boots on the back side of house, and they did not install the ridge caps properly. They removed most of the gutter straps and through them in the dumpster. I found one on the ground and when I looked to find where it came from, I found 5 more in dumpster. I requested they return to install the gutter straps; they started installing them with screws that were too short and were not spacing them properly. When I questioned them about it they said it was not their job. I informed they that I had a contract that said it was and again they said it was not their job, so I invited them to get off ******* and leave. I contacted the *********** with my complaints and have gotten the gutter straps installed. I still have issues with the ridge caps installation. I sent pictures of my house and several of my neighbor's houses to show the problem with my ridge caps. Apex says that my ridge caps are installed properly but a Wind Mitigation Inspector and several different roofers have told me that my ridge caps are installed wrong. Apex does not want to admit or correct the problem.

      **************** rep ************************** has been working with the homeowner on his concerns and has asked a supervisor to reach out to the homeowner to schedule an onsite visit to discuss the ridge caps. She has also sent the homeowner pictures of other completed roofs with similar shading. The homeowner passed his Final inspection from Charlotte county, and it was sent to him on 1/4/23.

      I think APEX did a great job on our roof replacement.
      The whole process was professional and the follow-up was quick.
      When speaking to company reps be sure to ask that person for their direct tel number as that will speed up your interaction.
      I would recommend this company.

      This company only wants you to sign on the dotted line then they disappear. They said they will be out the week of 11/28/22, yet could not reach anyone to find out exactly when they were coming. It is now Friday, and we cannot get any information when they are coming out. The only calls appear to be questioning who is on the insurance check. Thank God they are not. I do not know how we will ever get a call returned letting us know what is going to happen. We did find out they want $**** to void the contract. They are insane! They are the ones not fulfilling their obligation. We do know, if they ever come out, they will not get a dime until ever nail and all clean-up is perfectly done! Have seen how they leave customers homes on reviews and it is horrific. They have been our biggest nightmare after Hurricane Ian. Not sure if hiring an attorney is our only recourse for non-performance on their part.

      The homeowner had a conversation with MK on 11/30/22 approximately 4:55pm CST. who explained that we would be unable to give a install date as we did not have a permit issued.  The Customer Service Manager had a conversation with the homeowner on 12/2/22 @ 1:11pm CST and outlined the process and apologized for any miscommunication on Apex's part. Mr. Eaton then had a conversation with Aubrey R. and Ms. MK on 12/2/22 with the understanding the contract was canceled and the Release of Benefits would be sent.  On 12/5/22 @ 11:03am CST the Release was emailed to the homeowner by Ms. Terra W. This matter is resolved.

      We had a great experience with Apex Roofing. Our roof
      looks great and our gutters. Very Nice people to work
      with and felt they really took care of us. I highly recommend
      using them to replace your roof. They look out for
      Military and first responders as well. Thank you Apex
