    Dropped 2021 tax info off for completion 2.14.22. Picked up 3.7.22 and paid in full. Was told by them that my income was more this year than last and that was the reason the return was so different. That was a red flag, because my income was the same as 2020. Went home and compared 2020 to 2021. Found an error they made on 2020 return. Called them right away and explained their error. Phone calls have been made; they do not answer the phone; voice mails have not been answered. Email responses are "we will get you an answer as soon as we can". On 4.18.22 (tax day) at 12:51 pm got an email telling me to just send a check with no paperwork to the *** for 2020 and that they have filed an extension for the 2021 returns. Oh and everything would be ready that week of 4.18.22. I called 6.22.22 for a status (this is 2 months later); left a message and no return phone call. I called 8.4.22 from a family members phone, they did answer and said "we will get back to you with and update as soon as we can. I need some advice please!

    I am responding to ID ********. I just received the BBB letter in the mail yesterday, Wednesday, 8/17/22. *** ****** complaint is warranted. I am sure her dates in her complaint are accurate. Unfortunately, I am the person whose job is was to take care of *** ******* I had a family emergency. My husband was working on a family farm in Virginia in the spring, slipped and fell on a rock and then fell on his side and back on a concrete planter. He was in ICU, and it took me away from my work. Him being hospitalized in Virginia was devastating to my work. The office didn't know what to say to those who called. They know how private I keep my home life from my business life, and did not want to betray my confidence. I am so sorry for it all. I am back working, and am working hard to catch up. I will complete *** ****** work asap (hopefully this weekend). I hold no malice toward *** ****** * on the contrary, I am very sorry and think she has been more than patient. I have emailed *** ******* and will have her work ready by the end of this weekend.
