On September 28th 2022, I purchased my camper rv from McElroy RVs $38,239.00 . I also purchased additional warranty with my camper. **** the owner offered me 1yr warranty with my purchase. I did a final walk through with the camper prior to final sale. This is to make sure everything is in place, that if I seen anything about my RV I could have them fix it prior to the delivery of my camper. I found several things such as; to fix light fixture around the refrigerator bc the ceiling was low and freezer door actually hit the light. Once my camper was delivered from ********** ******* to ****************, I checked to see if the walk through issues have been resolved. All but the freezer door were fixed. I called **** and he specifically told me that he would send a tech or even come fix it himself by October 16th 2022. I even have an email to verify this contract. After three weeks past October 16th I called the business and spoke with several gentleman everyone reassured me **** will call me back. Days go by and no call. I emailed no response. I also found a water leak in my camper around the shower, I spoke with a gentleman in regards to this matter once again I was reassured my issues would be resolved. More emails and calls even spoke with service department they also stated they would pass the message over to **** the owner. It is November 30th 2022 I still haven't heard back from them, I have a warranty that they refuse to fix my issues and now I'm afraid I have water damage inside the panels of the walls. I'm not sure what else to do.

On May 20th I traded a travel trailer in that I had bought three weeks earlier. The trailer traded in was $53,000! The trade in value left me paying about $18,000 which was added to the trailer I got which was about $32,000 which had me walking away owing about the same amount. The amount they sent in to the bank was about $72,000 plus the $18,000 bringing my total to above $90,000. I asked about it and they said that was what they had to do to get it through the bank. I didn’t understand why they had to inflate that price that much to the bank when I had a near perfect credit score of above 750 and made well close to $150,000 a year in funds. I was asked if I wanted my warranty which I said yes. Somehow I was offered the same warranty for less than I originally paid for it. The original warranty was about $3400 but they were gonna transfer it to my smaller trailer for $2400 and was offered a credit of $1000 in the form of a check. I was told that there were no checks on-site and that I would get the check after the bank paid out on the trailer that I traded in. That cleared the following week and it was close to three weeks later before I got the title paperwork to get my tag changed over and to this day I am still waiting on my $1000 check. I was told it will be here tomorrow, they put it in the mail, but I have not received a check. The owner **** ******* will not call me back, his salesperson *** ******* gives me every excuse in the world and they do not have the common courtesy to be honest and treat me like a customer who just spent $54,000 at their facility. There is some fraudulent activity going on with the way they do business and submit paperwork to the bank for loans.
