Date: 6 Oct 21 Amount Paid: $6,600 To provide: 24' x 40' pad, with 24' x 15' driveway extension. All concrete broomed, 4000PSI, fiber re-enforced and poly for moisture barrier, **** sq ft.Issues: Rainwater pours into building. Pad poured too close to the ground. Rather than building up the area where pad was to be poured, contractor removed top layer of grass and soil, thus lowering the area, which has created rain problems inside. Contractor left large mounds of dirt, framing boards piled up near the pad, several forming boards never removed, large clump of concrete left in yard, and driveway pad, joing the building, initially poured too small. Poured for only one roll up door. Contractor verbally told there would be two doors. Downward driveway slope never leveled or suggested to be leveled to help with drainage. No "grate" drain system installed outside doors, nor any French drain system installed down either side of pad, neither of which were discussed or suggested. I, as a homeowner, know little to nothing about concrete or what should or should not be done. Contractor did return and add additional concrete and the finished work is sub par. Tried numerous times to contact contractor, but refused my calls and texts. We posted several photos on ********* with a message to others, showcasing what a terrible job was done by him and within an hour the post was deleted by someone. I have had numerous individuals, some of which are in the business of pouring concrete pads/foundations, and each has stated they would never have done what this contractor did to us. I received an estimate from one business to fix the existing issues, i.e., install a grate drain, remove pad outside doors and driveway pads, address the downward slope and install a drainage system down either side of the building to ensure proper rain runoff. The estimate was in excess of $5,000. We are in our mid 70's and live on a somewhat modest fixed income and cannot afford it.

I am rejecting this response because: Obviously I missed the mark *********** I would love for him or he hire someone to fix the problems he created.  But, I don't want him back on my property.

    Sincerely,
