      I had purchased a dining room set I looked it over carefully and I believe his name is either ****** or ****** he was encouraging me to buy and he too look it over there were no damages no scratches afterward I walked around still trying to decide came back to this table and *** came over and he looked it over no damage to any of the chair no damage to the table I even took pictures. In the store ****** spoke to the person that they recommended to pick up and deliver the charge was $120 I paid for the dining room set about $763 I do not have the receipt in front of me right now DJ is the delivery company. On Monday April 24 the dining room set was delivered I paid the $120 I could not catch them in time but I text DJ and sent a picture of the damages of the chair that is very noticeable it looks bad for a brand new dining room set I was told *** is the one that helped put the dining room set on truck. Apparently after they get your money and you sign as is they are not careful with your furniture but as is for me was there was no damage and no scratches if it were I would have never brought it, This is so wrong to treat people/customers like this to damage customers furniture and when complaint about the damage at delivery it is you are *** So contacting BBB is a way to let the public know they do not handle you furniture with care putting it on the truck especially the company called DJ the company they recommended. There are minor scratcher all over the dining room set but main damage is to the chair it is crack in several places and very noticeable. This company should be accountable especially when there was no damage and no scratches on the day that purchase was made This is not right

      The company have not responded to this complaint This is so unfair on the day of purchase there was no scratches and no damage Two sales representatives looked it over with me The dining room set was in perfect condition.  The delivery personnel said that *** who works in the store the same person who accompanied me to look the set over the same person who encouraged me to buy the set is the same person that damaged the set for delivery.  This is so wrong someone can be injury if the person was to sit in this chair plus there are scratches that are noticeable.

      Good afternoon, 

      It was my understanding that 2 employees of Overstock Furniture and Mattress checked the furniture with the customer and as the customer stated the ******************** was in good condition and it is my understanding that it was in good condition when it was loaded as well. Delivery is third party so the customer pays them directly for their service, and since the damage is believed to have happened after leaving the store. This matter is to be taken care of by the delivery service.

      The Delivery person by the name of DJ along with his associate  stated that *** who worked at the store who also confirmed on the day of purchase there was nothing wrong with the dining room set no damage no scratches put the dining room set on the truck is the one that damage the furniture They both witnessed when the damage occurred and it was done by *** This is not right I have damage furniture that can cause injury to anyone who sit on it. They should take this dining room set back and replace it with a dining room set of my choice that have no damage no scratches. Thank you to BBB for exposing this company again when I purchased the dining room set there was no damage and no scratches.  I do not have money to throw away this is not right down right wrong.
