Starting in Sept 2024 Rae's Home Builders was hired to renovate parts of our house. We were initially told it would **** * to 8 weeks to complete, it has been 4 months now. The work has started and in every area he has worked is about 75% done. We had a contract as to when he was would receive certain amounts of money for the work and we kept to that schedule, we even paid him in advance for items he stated he had to pay for in advance. We accommodated his wishes. Since he has not worked our house on a regular bases and always has an excuses not to come we asked him not to finish the job and we'll pay the remaining money he is requesting. He has now gone to the company who supplied the countertops from Granite Countertops ************, and told them We owe them the money for them. I have a cleared series of checks which shows we paid him the funds he requested and when. Also we have not received any cabinet drawers and doors through the hose where he stated the company is not working with him and he'll have to change vendors and was not sure if the money spent would be returned. He implies we may have to pay for them again. This is the final decision to let him go.
