I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the buildout and subsequent billing issues related to the remodeling of the building we currently lease from Mrs ************************ As you (Structure Remodeling) are aware, RCCF and Total Fitness are co-tenants in this building.Initially, the arrangement was facilitated by *********************, the owner of Total Fitness, who engaged Structured Remodeling for the buildout. However, several discrepancies have arisen that need urgent attention and resolution:Billing and Invoices: I have encountered significant issues with the invoices provided by Structured Remodeling. I have received six different invoices, all with varying amounts and items, and none of which provide a clear or consistent account of the work performed.Scope of Work and Accountability: The Total Fitness side of the buildout required substantially more work. Despite this, there has been no presentation of signed contracts or detailed work orders outlining the specific tasks completed. The most recent invoice, dated May 22, listed items such as a water fountain and insulation. However, the water fountain in question belongs to the building and has been present since ************** acquired the property. We have received six (6) different invoice amounts.Given these issues, I am seeking your intervention to address the following:Independent Verification of Space Allocation: A third-party assessment to verify the actual space allocated to RCCF and ensure it aligns with the original agreement per the lease.Clarification of Invoices: A detailed, itemized breakdown of all work performed, clearly distinguishing between RCCF and Total Fitness expenditures, accompanied by all relevant contracts and work orders signed by all parties. A third-party assessment to verify the items were indeed completed by Structure Remodel and not the invoices already paid to *********************.

      Business Response

      Date: 07/29/2024

In response to Complaint ID #******** (*********************) - Our company had a "verbal" agreement with ********************* dba Total Fitness regarding this matter.  We do not have a verbal, nor written contract with Ms. ********************** therefore, this complaint should be removed from our record and sent directly to *********************.  As a courtesy, to **************, we did in fact, send an invoice to ************** for her portion of the agreed upon amount between her and **************.  There has been no presentation of a signed contract or detailed work order to ************** because a signed contract does not exist, and the work order is solely between Structure Remodeling and *********************. We have no jurisdiction over the original agreement between ************** and ************** regarding the buildout of this property and certainly no jurisdiction over the lease between those two parties.
