    Worst experience. I booked a hotel at the Westin. They texted me the day of check in saying that my reservation was cancelled. I called the help desk and they rebooked me. Went to check in and they said they were doing renovations and cancelled our reservation and booked us at the element. They didnt attempt to notify me ahead of time. We ended up staying at the Element and paid for our stay. I found out that they had charged me for 2 rooms, one for the one we stayed in and one for a no show. I called them trying to get it resolved for weeks. They kept saying they couldnt do anything and that their manager would get back to me. I reached out to their manager his name is ******* ****** he would not answer, I left multiple messages. I finally got a call back from him days later, and he said that he reached out to Marriott bonvoy to see if they were going to take responsibility for it. I never got a call back from him. I reached out to him again the next week and still have not to this day got any response from anyone from Marriott or my refund. I finally filed fraud charges with my bank. I wouldnt recommend staying here to anyone.

    I stay here on Saturday 3/25 . When I checked in they ran my card and it was accepted the MANAGER CHECKED ME IN! The card reader said card was accepted and *** said no it wasnt and ran it again. Today after reviewing my statement I saw that I had 2 charges from Westin one for 297 and one for 276 . Called and after6 times finally spoke with The Manager that checked me in. He said I see where you was charged twice will get it handled said I should see on card in a few days . I said no it did not take a few days to steal from me and I want it back by morning like you took it. I said maybe you need to train you incompetent employees and he said I checked you in and I said like I said maybe the MANAGER NEEDS TRAINING! No one thing in the conversation was *************** what can we do to correct our s**** up. They was just worried about me cussing for them stealing from me. Thanks *******************

    As our ************ Manager (not the General Manager) tried to explain to you before you rudely cursed at him and hung up, it is just a pre-authorization on your card that your bank will drop after 3-5 business days.  It was not an actual charge nor was anyone stealing from you.  I apologize that the process was not better explained to you, but you made it extremely difficult to hold a conversation.  The pre-authorization should drop off by tomorrow or Thursday, depending on your particular bank.  Again, I apologize for the confusion.
