    I had been researching different cell phone plans for my 86 year old father. I found I could add him to my personal plan for $10 a month, tax included, however I still looked into every other option. Lively with jitterbug was one of those options. I spent 45 minutes, on the evening of Oct 26th 2022, with one of their representatives. I questioned repeatedly what my total monthly bill would be. I was quoted the cost of a total of $35. monthly. I knew that this would be $15 extra dollars than what I would pay with my personal cell phone plan. But the agent, determined to sell me on lively, continued with his sales pitch. They would wave the activation fee, the shipping fee and throw in extra charging units, if I set up a revolving payment on my credit card. I was also eligible for a one time $10 dollar bonus. I questioned again what my total cost would be with taxes. I was assured that only $35 would be charged each month. The phone itself was on sale for $49.99. I decided to sign up. I received my first statement Dec. 9th. I find I have 2 charges One for $54.01 the other for $89.29. I called Lively, only to find that my monthly bell is actually $54. with taxes. And I was charged an activation fee. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! I believe they scam our elderly. They promise things they are unable to follow through with just to get ones business. My greater concern is that they have no integrity especially when it comes to our older generation. SHAME ON THEM!!! Nor did they make any effort to correct their mistake!!!! DO NOT USE THIS FALSE ADVERTISING COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CELL SERVICE FOR AN OLDER MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY. THEY ARE DISHONEST IN BUSINESS!!!
