I hired Blake Brothers to replace a residential water heater. ****************** came out to do this. When I asked him what brand of water heater he was installing he said *************************** and that they only use *************************** and ***************. I then took my lap out for him to show me which one, he turned and went to his truck. It took him 4 hours to do the job. He was gone some of the time getting parts, etc. He used my water hose and left it on, my neighbor told me about it. Issues:wrong water heater installed ( State commercial 50 gal.) water heater was installed. They said ******************"misspoke" the receipt was too dark for me to read, yes I signed it since they have a flat installation rate. I had to call many times to get the receipt e-mailed to me. Once the receipt arrived I found out their "flat rate" as verified by **** is approximately $2,000.Please be alert to their "flat rate and their practices" Times change in the business world.Blake Brothers Service Corp

I understand your concern on cost but our membership would have saved you 10% and I am also refunding the service fee since you replaced with us. ON August 29, 2023 I had Blake Brothers come out and give me estimate on disconnecting shutoff valve in my crawl space that was a water line for ice-maker fridge I used to have. Although this was turned off in my kitchen with a small valve that was part of the line connected to the fridge I didn't want to risk this somehow coming loose in the future. The plumber determined I had a pipe under my house that was leaking so that was good that this was discovered. I was quoted price of $127 to replace 1/2 shutoff valve that went to the waterline connected to my old fridge. I had another plumber come out a few days later and he turned off the shutoff valve for free. He said there was no need to replace it!Blake Brothers Service Corp

5 starsBlake Brothers had a Christmas give-a-way drawing which my friend entered me. I won!! Blake Brothers called me and set up a time to come out and get to work. It was the week before Christmas and they wanted to make sure the job got done before Christmas. *************, *******, and ***** worked all day. They were very professional, kind, and made sure when the work was done, they cleaned up and made sure I understood everything they did. They installed 2 split units and a whole home surge protector. My house is a two story however my unit doesnt work efficiently, so there was too much condensation upstairs which caused mold to grow. With the split units installed upstairs, now my house has a lot less humidity. The units have provided a safer environment for my daughter since her room is upstairs. Thank you doesnt seem to cover it! I am beyond grateful for Blake Brothers and their gift for a safer home environment! ???????? Technician ********************* did an excellent job in replacing a faulty thermostat. He worked quickly and efficiently, removing the old item and replacing it. He checked to see that the new thermostat was working properly. The A/C system is now operating normally. Great job and thanks to a valuable member of the ** team!Blake Brothers Service Corp

2 starsCame to fix toilet and put new works in to the tune of ****** which included the service call fee of $119. Toilet began to run again. Called back and wanted to charge for an upgrade. Finding new plumber.Review fromJenny R

Had them out to service my AC and replace a water heater. I had ********* out in the home (I guess they have people who specialize in one service over the other). both techs were great, told me what they were doing and what to expect, they gave me options, and let me know what need to be taken care of today and what may be able to wait until later. I wish I remembered the tech's names as I would love to give them an attaboy but I can not remember off the top of my head (old age I guess). Overall these guys were great and I will be using them again!Blake Brothers Service Corp
