I had a schedule move with coast to coast relocation on July 13th. When it came down to them moving us they wanted to change the date and when the moving company came to pack us they went from charging us from the contract cost of 1620$ to it then being 5800$. Boxes were supposed to be included with our move as they walked through they stated that we were getting charged. So we ended up not using them due to the lies and being totally mislead. I have been trying to call the customer service number since July 14th and cannot get an answer from anyone and when I hit a different option they pick up and hang up. I was also cussed out by one person from the office on July 10th they are very rude and have the worst reviews online. They are not accredited with the better business bureau. I paid my deposit of $500 over a couple payments. I have been scammed due to the lies and I had a personal number for the guy that was dealing with my move that he completely stopped messaging me back and will not respond to my emails or my calls. I paid 250$ on 5/30 and on 6/11 I paid 100$ and then 150$ July 12th I believe. I am filling this dispute due to me being scammed out of my money and seeing that I cant get a hold of them. I was told that I cannot get a refund even though they had my whole contract wrong. I cannot reach them and some numbers listed on line are not in service. They had my move date wrong then when they called with that day to come they were late. I am very ****** and after paying them the $500 I had to end up going and getting a Uhaul and paying $640 not counting all the gas that we had to use to fill it up. I need help on filing someway to get my money back from this fraudulent company.

I booked a cross country move with climate control storage through this company. Under the contract I requested packing (including disassembly of furniture) upon pick up from my former home in ******** and unpack (including reassembly) at our new residence in **********. Because we had not yet purchased a home in our destination city, I requested climate-controlled storage in **********. Our pick up took place in June 2023 through a sub-contractor, New Jersey Transport. I was never contacted about payment for the storage after pick-up. Only after reaching out to New Jersey Transport, was I advised that my items were not shipped to ********** as contracted but instead in storage in **********. Further, this company seemed entirely unaware of the details of my contract through Coast to Coast Relocations. Upon requested delivery in January 2024, New Jersey Transport appeared to have further subcontracted the job with Roswell Logistics. When my items were ultimately delivered on a U-Haul truck, most boxes were crushed with water damage and many of the furniture items (which had been in pristine condition) were severely damaged. Just a small sampling of the damages included gouges in a dining room table that was new and never used in our home; deep scratches, gouges, and water damage to our wooden bedframe and nightstands; and an arm chair which had the leg broken off and split in two. None of the furniture was wrapped, protected or properly disassembled as contracted which would have helped avoid the damages sustained. After all this psychological trauma, I have been working to resolve my claim though New Jersey Transport as instructed. This company and the amount they were willing to pay for the damages was $258 on what we have received repair and replacement estimates of up to $5,000. After requesting further arbitration, as advise from Anthem LLC, we have been given phone number that ring to dead-end voicemails and e-mail address that bounce back messages.

I hired them to do my cross country move from AL to **.. The movers they contracted with for my move immediately doubled my price when they arrived and, once half of my belongings were in storage, they wanted an additional $6,000. When they first backed into my property, they driver backed into my power line that leads to an outbuilding (we had to call the utility company as well and an electrician and the estimate cost to repair their damage is $3,000 +). My house is sold and the new owner has to take possession with this damage. I have to call our sheriffs department to file a police report and have them return my belongings and get off my property).

On April 29, I scheduled a move with Coast to Coast Relocation and paid a deposit of $500. The move is 2 weeks away, from ******* to **********. I called and emailed the mover multiple times for the last 2 weeks. I have not received a call. Two of the phone numbers are no longer in service. One phone number sends my call to another phone where it rings and rings. No one answers. Not even an answering device. ********************** to Coast is either out of business, or fraudulent. I contacted my bank and am disputing the amount paid. Coast to Coast cashed my check on the same day, April 29. I am complaining now to Better Business Bureau. I also wrote to US DOT, a *************** The only saving ***** is that I have 2 weeks to schedule another mover.

I was scammed by Coast to Coast Relocations As far as I can tell their location is a PO box in *******, but everyone you deal with seem to be in ******* and the majority of people I dealt with had email address not connected to the company. When I tried to research the people I was corresponding with, they have virtually no online presence, so I am assuming they might be fake entities. Coast to Coast will insist that you pay your deposits with a check. This gets them around any of the fraud protections provided by credit card companies. The Agent "*********************" made very specific promises about the services they would provide verbally and in writing. They are a broker, but specifically told me that they would handle the move under the direction of *********************** with their own crew and trucks. I was told in writing that they do not use 3rd party carriers and that my items would never leave the truck between the two locations. (This turned out to be a lie) Somehow one of their competitors got my information and knew about the deal. They called me and told me that Coast to Coast does this scam with a lot of people and she hoped I had not paid them a deposit by check (I had). I sent "***********************" an email with my concerns, and he assured me in writing, "I assigned a dedicated truck (trucks) depending on how much space you'll need. This will be a straight shot deal, we don't do 3rd party carriers. You're in very good hands my friend.". When I realized I was being scammed and that their DOT license would not legally allow them to provide the services they were promising me, I canceled my move and asked for me refund to be returned. To this day Coast to Coast has not returned the deposit. That have stolen the money from me. Their lack of physical location, and using names that have no digital foot print has hindered attempts for legal action. I am sure this is intentional. Coast to Coast US DOT #: *******

********************* at Coast to Coast gave me a competitive quote $1620 quote for my move and told me a number of untruths including a shared trucking arrangement and his involvement with the process. The movers who showed up were from a different NJ based company and they handed me a $3974 bill once loading my belongings on their truck. Though he tried to get an echeck from me for a $500 deposit, he accepted a credit card after I expressed discomfort with sharing my account and routing numbers with him. The movers would only accept a check and I gave them one for $2800 once we loaded the truck because it didn't seem like I had another choice. Online reviews of Coast to Coast tell a story similar to mine. Next time, I'll be sure to read them beforehand. Live and learn, I suppose. Thanks for looking into this matter--I imagine it's not the first complaint you've received about this operation.

I was sold a move from TX to Mn in July. They hired Panthers Moving and Storage for my move. My stuff was picked up September 12 and I never got a delivery. This company did not inform me that my belongings would just sit in storage. I was sold a MOVE.

Job Number: S2006913 Coast to Coast Relocations, Hello Moving *** and Precise moving & Storage LLC moved us from ***********, ** to ******, ** .
