I went in to see ***** the ** for a routine check up on January 9th. I have migraines and had been taking Nurtec for some time, but I expressed to her that the meds were not helping as much and the migraines seemed to be more often. She prescribed me Ubrelvey and sent me home with a sample pack that included one pill. Several days later later I received a letter from my insurance that the medication was denied because I cannot take the Ubrelvey and Nurtec at the same time. I called the office on January 30 to make sure they were following up with this. The office called me back and told me that they would resubmit my paperwork to show the Nurtec was no longer a medicine of mine, and at this time I didn't need to do anything. I called back the following week on February 6th to check in with the office again, they called me back and said it was still being worked on and again, I didn't need to do anything. I called February 27th, the office sent me a text on the 28th stating they were giving the information to lady that handles their pre authorizations, and then they would call me back. I DID NOT receive that call. I called again on March 8th and asked them to CALL ME, the office sent a text saying they had not received anything from my insurance since January 9th. I sent a text back and told them I had called the insurance company myself at this point and the insurance company needed a letter resubmitted to them about the medication issue. The texted I got back said they were not aware of that and they would let ***** know so and fax it over. I called one last time on March 13th to follow up and told them again not to text me but to call, no one has yet to respond. Today is March 16th, I spoke with my insurance company yesterday and they still have not submitted any paperwork for me, and I have been without medication for over two months now.
