    On Friday, May 10, 2024, I got our Acura RDX 2019 serviced for B137. Since I had always trusted their service and pricing, I did not have any other questions. I had paid a total of $947.00 using my credit card and drove away. I did feel the pricing was bit high and wanted to look into it later on.As I enquired with other Acura services around, I found that this B137 service would typically cost about $650.00 or so with taxes. I had checked with the service manager and the following is what he had to say:"While I can appreciate your concerns. Our perspective is as follows. Thank you for being a loyal service customer of ours and the ***** store. With us operating as a local company I can honestly say that we have the best team we have ever had not only in Acura for our region but would be willing to put our experience and expertise up against any shop in town. With that being said we have to pay a premium to employ and retain top talent to give our customers the best work. While this service may be a little higher priced I am hoping that the experience we are able to provide our customers outweighs the difference in price. From my understanding we quoted the work twice and you approved the work prior to it being done. It is never my aim to make a customer regret doing business with us which is why we preach communication at our store. While I am not able to refund the money for work that was already approved and done I can gladly facilitate any future services and or questions you may have going forward."I am not sure since when we started paying a premium for a service, as if the base price in itself was not exorbitant.

    I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I was quoted one price that I didnt agree too, but we came to some sort of a medium. When I went to sign the paperwork with keys in pocket, the price was greatly increased. When I complained about the price, they dropped it $7.00 less not even a dent. My wife desperately needs a vehicle right now and they said they would work with us but didnt. Now that I am having second thoughts about the vehicle and having thoughts about returning the vehicle after one day of having it and not driving it since we brought it home. They are telling me that its not a return policy after signing the paperwork. They are liars, dont trust anything they say. Very dissatisfied and hurt from the results.

    My husband and I bought a vehicle from Shottenkirk Acura of Huntsville. Less than 12 hours after purchasing, the engine light came on. The manager refused to pay for the repairs. I have never had such a terrible interaction with a dealership. We think that the dealership knew about the problem with the vehicle and just cleared the codes before we purchased. I tried to speak with the general manager asking him to do the right thing and fix the repair that would cost ** $1800 to fix. He refused. This is terrible customer service. I would strongly advise that you do your research about this dealership before purchasing from them. They sell lemons and then do not make it right by paying for repairs. We had not even had to vehicle a whole day. They saw a young couple and definitely took advantage. Go spend your money somewhere else because this is the worst dealership experience I have ever had.
