      A sales *** stopped by my house one day last summer for pest control. I was having a problem with big spiders outside then, so I was happy to try the service. They thoroughly treated the house for about 45 minutes, and I was pleased with the service. The service is $60 per month with treatment every two months, so two months later, when they came out and were only here for 5 minutes, I was a bit confused. Then, another two months later, when they spent 5 minutes again and sprayed before it would rain, I was done. They tell you it's a $300 cancellation fee, and I figured it was cheaper than to continue paying for a service I was no longer happy with. I removed my credit card for autopay and told them to cancel the service and charge me the fee to be done with it. Now, it's been a back-and-forth because they want a verbal confirmation, which is absurd. I notified them in writing, and that's all that is needed, but they still want to message me about a late service fee and refuse to cancel the contract to settle the account. This service is not worth it, and the company model works by keeping people under contract who can't afford the cancellation fee. When that does not work, they harass you about cancelling because they will make more money if you do not cancel.

      Services were canceled by my elderly mother *** Claudette **** back in July, and they continue to charge her!

      Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.


      We understand that a request to cancel services was made via text message in October. Following this request, we attempted to contact Miss **** multiple times by phone but were unable to reach her. Per our company policy, any changes to an account must be confirmed verbally by the account holder for security reasons. This policy was communicated through the voicemails we left, as well as through several emails and text messages sent to her during this period.


      Unfortunately, because we did not receive the required verbal confirmation, the account remained active until December, when we were finally able to speak with Miss **** over the phone. At that time, the Initial Discount was applied as a termination fee, in accordance with the terms of the service agreement, since the services were canceled before the completion of the agreed-upon term.


      We sincerely apologize if our security measures caused any inconvenience. Protecting our customers' information is our top priority. Additionally, we made every effort to contact Miss **** to address the situation promptly and minimize the duration the account remained open without her intent. We regret any frustration this process may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

      I was treated very horribly on the phone with the representatives of this company. They simply would never have refunded any money they stole from my mother had I not taken action by filing a complaint with BBB and the ** ************************

      The solution that they are spraying isn't working on the bugs. Ants continue to crawl in my home and bugs walk right over treated areas without dying. I'm also allergic to what ever solution that they are spraying. I want to discontinue the contract and stop all services from this company without paying the discounted fee as the product doesn't work.

Pest control is not a one time fix, and it does require multiple treatments to yield the best results. There are many external factors outside of anyone's control that can contribute to pest populations, such as weather, seasonal influxes, geography, and others. With that said, we guarantee your service against the pests outlined on your service agreement. We would be more than happy to provide a complimentary re-service to address the insects you are seeing, namely the ants you mentioned as well as any others you may not have mentioned. Up to this point, we hadn't heard anything from you to indicate that you were still seeing any insects.       A regular hose end treatment by ***** from ******* did a better job than what the company has done. After using the treatment I have no more bugs but with envioro gaurd I continue to see bugs in the home. I no longer need treatment from envirogaurd due to watered down diluted solution wich does not work. I want out of the contract without any fees as your service does not work and I have already waisted money using your company. Thanx

      On August 12th, the company failed to show up for the scheduled service and still charged me $60.00. I emailed them to report that the service did not take place as outlined on their website. In response, they assured me that a follow-up visit would be arranged. However, the follow-up visit never happened. They are still asking me for payment on a visit that never occurred, snd now added a huge laete fee that what they say I owe. I want them to erase my charges and cancel the contract.

      I agreed to a one time spray and declined a subscription to monthly sprays. The gentleman asked me to sign permission to spray my home and to decline future service. I called to question a bill of 100 and explained I didnt agree for future service and she said I was being charged to terminate service, which I didnt sign up for.

      Upon signing up for services with EnviroGuard Pest Control, a service agreement was presented to the customer. This agreement outlines the terms and duration of the agreement. The customer agreed to receive their initial service for $95, discounted from the standard price of $190 for their size of property. The service agreement outlines that if the customer chooses to cancel prior to the completion of the agreement, the discount given on their initial service would be charged as a fee. 

      We pride ourselves in transparency at EnviroGuard. The terms of the agreement are not found in the small print. The duration of the service agreement is the largest part of the agreement and is found directly above the line the customer signs on. The duration of the agreement, the initial discount being charged as a fee if the agreement is not fulfilled, and the amount of that fee is also outlined clearly on the agreement. The customer also signs to agree that the agreement has been explained by a representative of EnviroGuard in its entirety. Please see attached documents for images of this customer's agreement.

      If the customer wishes to continue services as outlined on their agreement, the initial discount fee will be removed from their account. Should they choose to keep their account closed, the initial discount fee will remain as an open invoice.

      According to the terms of the subscription/service agreement that I entered into with EnviroGuard, they were supposed to provide me Bi Monthly pest control service. They provided me an initial service, and a subsequent service, but then did not come back for the next service (July). I contacted them in August and notified them of a wasp infestation because they had not come in July. They sent out a technician, who said he did not have a ladder and that I would have to wait for the next scheduled service. I ended up having to call out ***** to handle my wasp problem.I have reached out in multiple ways (including a phone call) to cancel my subscription. They told me that I would have to pay over $200 in a cancellation fee. I told them that was unacceptable because they were in violation of the service agreement. They said that they would have a manager call me no phone call They have not held up their end of the contract (Did not provide ************** and their free remediation was not provided). Therefore, in my opinion, the contract is null and void.I want them to cancel my subscription and waive the cancellation fee.

      The company says that I am obligated to pay for services on a contract that I never agreed to or signed. They have a contract with a signature that is not mine. I would like to have this contract terminated.

      My family signed a service agreement with Enviroguard on Jun 7, 2022. Enviroguard's product has been ineffective, as they did not follow their own process and agreement. We have requested that they release us from the contract and they will not unless we pay the early termination fee which is the $160 discount applied when we signed the agreement. We have paid 3 installments of $89 on the agreement yet they have not maintained their side of the agreement. Their salesman came to our home and explained the process for pest control inside and outside the home. This process is also explained on the service agreement. This states that "The first treatment around your home is called the initial flush out. This special treatment attempts to gain control over the existing pest populations. your first regular treatment should follow within ***** days of the initial treatment to help break up the egg cycles. Insects are immune to treatments while in their egg shells and our products MUST be active to catch pests as they hatch. I signed the agreement with this understanding. The initial flush out treatment was performed inside& outside on June 9th. The next regular treatment was performed on July 16th within the 45 day window. However, the worker refused to come inside the home and garage to spray. We then called Enviroguard to inform them about this and we were told that the worker should have come inside the ********* had been fired. Because we were still seeing a lot of bugs, I requested to terminate the contract with the company. They refused and offered to start the process again. The worker came out on October 10th for the initial flush treatment and after that there was no follow up regular treatment to complete the egg cycle yet again. So far, we have paid nearly $200 and twice they have neglected to meet the terms of the agreement. I have asked again that they release us from the contract. They refuse & continue to harass us with past due bills.

      I have a service contract with this company and the last service that was done was not done. I have a video camera on the front of my house and it shows the representative being at my house for less than 3 minutes. All I want is the service canceled. It will not allow me to upload the video but I have been in contact with the company and they have a copy of it.

      Enviroguard technician came out on 7/16 to complete the initial service which was supposed to be the start of the contract. The technician was in and out in about 20 minutes and did not complete all the work that was claimed to be done with the service. There were still wasp nests, spider webs and other details that were supposed to have been part of the service. I contacted Enviroguard the exact same day to advise that the initial service was NOT completed as indicated and I did not want to continue this service further. They offered to send someone to redo the service but I was not satisfied with this and uncomfortable with allowing anyone else to come into my home. I advised them that since the initial completed service was the point at which the contract began and the initial was not completed as stated then they subsequently had voided any contract at that point. I have received phone calls stating that I must pay for this service or they will be putting this on my credit report as a debt. I advised that I am not bound to an agreement when they didnt fulfill the terms of the contract from the start.
