    I won a ******** raffle for a photo session with Boudoir by Hadon. She asked me to put $100 deposit towards the hair and makeup for the session as a step when booking with her. After signing an agreement and paying $100 on January 18th, 2025, she sent more information via email and I asked her if I could still do the photo session that I wonif I didnt intend to purchase any of her picture packages. She cancelled the photo session that we booked. Basically, I won a ******** raffle and was scammed out of $100. I didnt win anything. I lost $100. This just doesnt sit right with me. I have tried to move on, but these shady business practices bother me.

    Ive attached the contract signed by ******* as well as the ad of which so was booking the session under. There is nothing that states it is a drawing or raffle or that she won anything. She paid the deposit required for a session. If she would have reached out to me directly, we may have been able to make other arrangements but she made no such effort to contact me by any means with any complaint.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This business will continue in their predatory practices. Its not a surprise that she is using this BBB complaint as an excuse not to right her wrongdoings. Hadon stole from me. I was promised something in return for this deposit. I didnt get anything. Her nasty tricks are predatory. I wont be happy with a response until I have been returned my money.

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
    The client signed a clearly written contract acknowledging that the deposit was non-refundable, which was communicated both in writing and verbally during the consultation process. This policy is standard in the photography industry to reserve the time, date, and preparation required for client sessions.
    We understand the client is disappointed, but the agreement was honored in good faith and no breach occurred on our part. Unfortunately, since the contract explicitly stated the deposit was non-refundable, we are unable to issue a refund.
    While the business is now closed, our goal has always been to serve our clients with professionalism, integrity, and transparency. We wish the client the best.
