In February 2024, my 2017 jeep compass went in to their shop due to jerking of the vehicle. SilverRock , my warranty company had been informed and adjuster was sent out to verify that it was the transmission and to approve or deny the claim. The claim was approved, and ******* the shop owner proceeded to hold my vehicle for a month saying that he couldnt get the first transmission he put in programmed, so they had to put a second one in. A month and a half later, I drove from **********, ******* to *********, ******** and back. On my way home the vehicle was acting poorly when I arrived home my traction control light was stuck on, so I called the warranty company and a new shop as I had been treated very badly by **** automotive personally and professionally, to schedule the Jeep to be looked at the following day. On my way to the shop my right wheel came on hinged from the vehicle and the control arm was knocked loose. I had the vehicle towed to ******* tires in ******, ******* to find out what the problem was. ******* tires told me that there were several bolts missing on near the transmission. There were bolts loose and the control arm broke. He asked me if I had work recently done to the vehicle, which I replied. Yes, he said well. They left missing bolts and bolts loose which caused this issue. My warranty company would not cover all of the damages that was caused by A&T. So far I am out almost $600 due negligence. ******* tires also told me on a later visit that the transmission had never been programmed. My battery cover is missing and I think they swapped my battery, right speaker blown.I am concerned that I am not the first person they have done this to, and I wont be the last. If my tire Would have come off the way it did while I was on the interstate on my road trip I might not be here to file this claim. I can provide further details if Necessary.Business Response

6-24-2024 Shop owner, ***************************** called BBB. He said he has not heard from you since you picked your Jeep in late February. He is not offering to refund you any money. If you would like to discuss this further please give him a call.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I was told not to contact ******* that if I had any questions to deal with the **************** instead. He was abusive and rude to me during most of our interactions. I also have a statement available from the shop I took the jeep to after my tire was dislodged and the control arm came loose; stating that the damages were most likely due to the work done at Anthonys shop, and their workers leaving bolt missing and others loose that caused the damage. If I have to take it to small claims I will. I do not want to speak to him, but my husband said he was more than willing to go down and talk to him in November/December when hes able, but I do not want to wait that long to have this resolved. Again, I was told by ******* not to call him to only speak to the **************** regarding this claim.
Sincerely,

Hey, this is ************************* from A&T Automotive. I have never told any customer to never reach out to call me if they had a problem. This is the first time that I have heard from ************ via dispute. We don't have to take the control arm off to remove the transmission from her vehicle. Her work was performed on 02/05/2024. If we failed to tighten or properly secure any bolts or control arm or lug nuts, her tire would have came off way before now. I am not giving her any money toward this fix, because I do not have proper documentation of when this happened, where this happened; she has also never contacted Silverrock Warranties about any issues concerning her vehicle.
If she would like to speak to my attorney going forward, I will be more than gladly to give her any information she needs in order to contact him. I am sorry for any inconvenience, if any has caused her. I test drove her vehicle and so did my programmer, and there wasn't any other issues besides her needing tires on her vehicle. All her tires were balded, and I told her she needed tires and an alignment before she left.
************ has never contacted me whatsoever about any issues concerning her vehicle. I have never been rude to ************ or disrespectful. Any other questions, please contact me at ************.

I am rejecting this response because:This response from ******* is all in fraud. When I picked my vehicle up, ******* was on the phone. He tossed my keys at me and didnt say a word until asked where it was parked and for a copy of an invoice. I have contacted ********** repeatedly due to this issue. They have documentation as well of ******** instructions to me to not bother him anymore and contact them if I had any questions to contact ********** directly. That is in SilverRocks records. They sent an investigator out, supposedly, to check out the situation. I asked multiple times to have my vehicle removed from his shop as I suspected there would be issues with my vehicle upon return. I have no need for his lawyers information, mine will gather everything I need when I file my claim. This is not the first time nor the last that ******* will do this to a customer, if someone doesnt step in. There was no other work done to my vehicle that would necessitate bolts being removed or missing a month later. A prolonged road trip of 14 hours after ******* shop had my vehicle I believe sped up a process that he intended to take much longer to use this excuse of not having anything to do with it. I believe there was never a transmission issue with my Jeep. The reputable shop I took it to will validate that it was not programmed. I have documentation of that. Im not letting this go until people in this area know that they cannot trust this shop and theyre negligence. I am not alone in this. I have spoken to locals in this area that have brought vehicles to Anthonys shop, having the same sort of issues I did. I also have a witness of a phone conversation where ******* was disrespectful to me and ********** has a file, my lawyer will be gaining access to their records as well as witness accounts.
Sincerely,

I cannot add the documentation regarding the work that needed to be done after I left Anthonys shop. I can take a picture of the documents I have and send them via e-mail but I am unable to scan them. All of what ******* is saying is a lie. I also can not prove that I spoke to silver rock, they will need to be contacted directly to verify my statements.Customer Answer

******,
Thank you I will email that today. How am I supposed to email up you proof of talking with *******? Do you want a statement signed by my witness when I had him on speaker phone or?? Again SilverRock warranty company, will
have to verify with you that he told me to contact them directly they told me in a recorded line that it was documented. They also sent out adjusters to see what was taking so long. I may have further proof when I can afford to take my Jeep back to a new shop that the issue was NEVER the transmission to begin with. As I am still having the same trouble with the Jeep. My front tires are trash, but they were still decent when I pulled into A&T. Also my cover that goes over the batteries are missing. And have been. Ill send you pictures of what I looks like as well. ******* was in the phone when I picked up the Jeep, he didnt say anything to me AT ALL, j til I asked him where it was parked, and he just pointed.
