Selling a vehicle while ignoring serious issues is not only unethical but a major red flag for any business. While I understand that many buyers at this dealership may be in a different "caliber," ethics should remain central to every transaction, regardless of the price tag.

We purchased a fairly expensive used Mercedes from them, and while they did show us the work they had done, which I appreciated, you don't expect to be hit with unpleasant surprises once you take the vehicle home. It was raining the day we bought the car, and given the dealership's reputation and the Mercedes brand, we trusted them when they promised to fix the issues we noticed during the test drive. We even purchased a warranty and DuPont package for extra peace of mind.

The concerns raised during the test drive were supposed to be resolved with a service call. I also had questions about the tires and wanted to replace them quickly due to regular wear and tear. However, when I took the vehicle to ***** two days later, they were shocked we were allowed to drive off the lot given the condition of the two front tires—a huge safety issue.

But it didn’t end there. There was also a leak in the harmonic balancer and an issue with the rear shock, both of which should have been caught during the standard 140-point inspection for used vehicles. These problems don’t appear overnight and indicate fraudulent practices.

This all happened within three days of purchasing the car, with the service appointment availability not until the seventh day. When I raised these concerns, the sales manager called and flat-out refused to do anything, claiming they had "already spent so much money on the vehicle." His tone was intimidating, and though he offered to return our money, he quickly backtracked, saying he’d need to check with his bosses.

Long story short: Do not trust the salespeople at this dealership.

We were already in communication with this customer and agreed to return the vehicle. The sales agreement has been canceled and the $13,500 down payment has been refunded. This is resolved.

      Complaint: ********

Thank you for acknowledging the refund. However, it's important to clarify that the issue extends beyond the return of the vehicle. The concerns raised about the dealership’s ethical standards and transparency in addressing serious vehicle issues remain unresolved. While the sales agreement was eventually canceled, this only occurred after considerable pushback and unprofessional communication from the sales manager. The fact that the vehicle was allowed to leave the lot with significant safety concerns, including worn tires and mechanical issues, is alarming and raises questions about the dealership’s commitment to customer safety and ethical business practices.
The resolution of this specific transaction doesn't address the broader issue of how vehicles are inspected and sold at this dealership. For other potential customers, this remains a critical concern.
once customer buys the vehicle, there should be a consistency and temperament of resolving the issue especially the point above.  a productive response of repair,  exchange, andtaking in account of time wasted and come up with solution that will adhere to both parties.

      Sincerely

      *** ****

** April 2023 a paid sponsored ad was advertised on IG for a 2023 GLE 63 coupe for $859 lease. I contacted the dealership and everyone was clueless. I spoke with Brooklyn who gave me an amount of 2K month for the vehicle instead. **** then reached out to me via email regarding my experience. I explained the situation and she then told me about another vehicle. I spoke with another lady who told me the price should be honored. May 8th I see the same paid sponsored ad on FB. I reach out to customer service and the young lady put me in contact with ******** who then has **** to email me. **** apologized and tells me that the three vehicles advertised has been removed and to now refresh the paid. Im confused because I sent ******** a video of the advertised vehicles and **** has now had them removed. As of May 10th the store is not honoring the advertised price that was sponsored for over a month. Instead all **** did was apologized with no resolution.

Thank you for sharing the complaint you received.  Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham is aware of the concern and has communicated with ********************** multiple times.  The ad in question references the National ad for the 2023 ************* *** SUV.  Unfortunately, a stock photo for a *** Coupe was served instead of the *** SUV ** the ad.  The photo was corrected.  The Shop Now button provides a link to our dealerships website which contains all descriptions & details.  All available vehicles, pricing, etc is listed on each search result including the Disclaimers listed below. Some vehicles have the phrase Call for Price as these are highly sought after vehicles and bring over the manufacturers suggested retail price or MSRP.

We began working with ********************** in **************************** lease of the right vehicle but have been unable to come to an agreement at this point. We are happy to continue working with ********************** towards the purchase or lease of a ************* vehicle however, we do not have a lease offer available for a *** Coupe that matches that payment.

      Disclaimer:
New vehicle pricing includes all offers. Tax, Title and Tags not included in vehicle prices shown and must be paid by the purchaser. While great effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site, errors do occur so please verify information with a customer service rep. **** is easily done by calling ** at ************ or by visiting ** at the dealership.

The vehicle lease disclaimer can be found under Specials and National Offers tab. ***********************************************

I am rejecting this response because although you all have communicated with me after bringing the same ad to the dealership attention numerous of time. As a customer you all have not offered me anything for the false advertising of ******** ***** I only received an apology email and telling me that the information originally posted has been removed. As a customer I feel that since ******** advertised the sponsored ad the ad should be honored or you all should try to work something out with me instead of acting as if you all as a company doesnt care.

      Sincerely,

      Dear Maam & Sirs,
****************** has a long-standing professional relationship with the technician that has performed all the work on the **** S320 and other vehicles hes owned over the years. After more than one conversation with ******************, ************** personally assured him that at no time did he or our company charge him for work not performed, nor have we ever performed work that we did not believe was in his best financial interest, to allow continued use of the S320. So due to our own internal investigation, we will not be issuing any refund for service(s) we provided.
We completely understand how frustrating and overwhelming it can be when major repairs are needed to a vehicle such as this **** S320. In as much as ****************** didnt bring the S320 to us with his  current issues, and in fact, the last time weve seen the S320 being February 2022 with ******* miles on it, it is not possible for us to assist him at this time with any diagnostic or repairs solutions.  We feel strongly that it is in his best interests to find another trusted repair facility to manage his automotive needs going forward.

      Kind regards,

      *******************
