We bought a double wide from Timeberline Homes of Jasper. We were told 30 days after the home is set everything would be fixed. Well its not. We keep getting the run around. Everything started when they put down the pad. Its wrong. Then the plumbing had to be fixed several times. We still have cracks in our ceiling and trim that needs to be fixed. We just want everything to be done. Its been well over 60 days.

This is ***** **** with Timberline Homes of Jasper.

We have corrected everything that the retailer is required to take care of during the purchase of the home. I have also sent out an extra load of dirt to the home to satisfy Mrs. *** and her unhappiness of her pad , the pad passed state inspection with no errors notated.  We have a repair tech but he only adjust doors and drawers etc. ceiling cracks other major issues are turned over to the factory for repair. Here at Timberline we do not hold the warranty on the home the factory holds the warranty. At this time Mrs. *** is waiting on them. We also do not go out to the home until the customer has power and water , they did not receive power until the 26th of September. Mrs. *** was delivered on August 30 yes but it was almost a month before the power company turned her power on and she was aware of that. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I am rejecting this response because:

they did bring out dirt, but its all still a mess. Because of the way the dirt pad was laid the underpinning is uneven and looks terrible. There are holes everywhere in the underpinning. An animal could run underneath it, thats how much the underpinning is off the ground when it shouldnt be. Ive brought this to their attention, and someone is supposed to be coming to fix it this week. We were also supposed to get a set of steps for each exit door on the home, but because the laundry room door is so high Timberline could not provide us steps. So then, they were going to try to find a contractor to build us some steps, but I guess they couldnt find one for their price budget because I was informed that theyre just going to send us a $250 check instead like they think thats going to buy enough lumber for us to build steps. Timberline has been knowing that all of the trim throughout the home needs fixed. I was told they would get some ordered and that their tech would come out and fix it all. Been waiting about 2 months now and I finally reached out a couple of weeks ago and was told they dont take care of that, the factory does. I have been getting nothing but the run around with these people. Someone from the factory is out at my house today fixing the nails that were coming through the floor and a couple of other things, but when I asked about the trim he said he was not imformed that trim needed to be fixed. This has been nothing but a complete headache for us when this really should be the happiest time for us about getting a new home.

    Sincerely,

    ******* ***

In the contract it states that the steps are only temporary, we are refunding the amount of the set of steps cost to the customer. we are sending a service tech out to adjust the skirting on the home. I will be more than happy to fix the trim in the home since the factory did not take care of that while they were there.
