    Generac generators are great. I have no complaints about the installation of the generator or it's functioning.That is where the positive ends. I had my first maintenance service 7 months later. I was 30 days late paying the invoice and this company charged me a 60% late fee. Even the BBB states that penalties and fees should be reasonable.Corporate culture comes from the top. This company's culture is stuck in last century where imposing unfair fees without considering any circumstances of the customer. What I regret is spending $16K+ with a company that has that type of practice.Current Electrical states it has been in business for over 30 years.There are 2 testimonials on it's website that look to be from the same person.I wish I had reviewed this company prior to making such a large purchase.I would without question have found another seller/installer.

    We do have a standard policy of collecting payment at the time of service or in advance, which is communicated to all customers. While our late fee structure is designed to encourage timely payments, we understand that unexpected situations arise. In your case, while the invoice was overdue by 90 days, we applied only five late fees and even removed three as a courtesy.


    Our goal is always to work with our customers fairly while ensuring we can continue to provide the best service possible.
